great points, but oftentimes the women espousing this type of rhetoric aren't actually trying to oppose them at all. they staunchly believe in gender roles and, in their eyes, any deviation from them is subject to ridicule

i'm around socially conservative women from conservative cultures so yeah. this specific element of gender roles is extremely entrenched into some cultures

i agree with the sentiment but the women saying that broadly speaking aren't actually arguing for conformity to gender roles, they're making fun of the manosphere by inverting their rhetoric as a joke.
