"she still thinks this is a dream" oh my god, this is real

it's weird how jax makes fun of pomni thinking she's in a dream meanwhile in episode 8 he says it's real?? just wanted to talk about this cause I'm rewatching the series

reminded me of this

thank you for showing me this

glad to share

I'm tired of people misunderstanding this bit as Jax thinking it's always been a dream. No. Jax was questioning Able in the previous ep and calling bs saying it's an adventure made by Caine. But THIS in undeniable, THIS is not coming from an NPC. THIS is real

Something I made 2 years ago

You guys are taking that Jax line too seriously

his ass was referring to the adventure do people think he's been dreaming for years or something

jax:

Or also when Jax talked to Pomni about them being cartoon characters, maybe he was thinking that digital world was a cartoon world without consequences or something, rather than a dream

I really can’t tell if this is about Jax viewing everything as a dream for too long or he really thought the C&A lore from the escape adventure was all made up. I initially thought that it was the latter when I rewatched it.

Jax is referring to the chance to get out being real, not the circus as a whole.

I feel like Jax keeps going back and forth between "this is fake" and "this is real". Sometimes he realizes that it's real but he's in denial about it.

jesus that old animation style was really bad

I dont think he thinks ALL of it was fake or a dream. I believe he thought this little stunt of Caine freaking out and torturing everyone was an adventure made up. But once one of his little “Character Dynamics” broke with Kinger being sane, all the pieces of what’s going on came

Shit, he's doing the same thing with his eyes too. I didn't even think about that.

THEY HAVE THE SAME FACES

AINT NO WAY JAX THOUGHT THIS WHOLE THING WAS FAKE

I'll always be so satisfying to see how more comfortable and confident Pomni has become since the pilot

Yeah, I was just thinking... was Jax in MASSIVE denial about this place since the beginning? Like, even more than Pomni was in the first episode? Cuz that WOULD explain a LOT.

He was projecting so hard dude what a complex character

I think we’re twisting his words a little.

Native english speakers live in the everlasting night of having their animations be voiced over by english speaking voice actors and they'll never know any other reality.

i dont think he's that dumb to think he has been dreaming for years lol

Craziest case of pot and kettle I’ve ever seen
