The Lancaster County Coroner (the person who would know if someone died of measles in the county) just said that it WAS NOT TRUE. The coroner said that a child died shortly after birth but that measles in no way contributed to the death of the child. The coroner also said that he knows absolutely nothing about a second person dying in the county of measles. Shapiro lied. In fact it has been stated these are the first measles deaths in the U.S. in 35 years. But the County Coroner says there are zero measles deaths here. The Governor’s office will not respond to questions. And now apparently they will not respond to CDC either. I think it is fair to ask why? If you have a press conference announcing this, you have a duty to be transparent.
