I pulled this shit once on mexico, was driving DUI and some covers tried to pull me over, but i was around 400 yards away from my hotel parking entrance, so i faked i was pulling over, slowed down and turned on my blinkers, once i saw the hotel entrance, turned right and the guard let me in, they didnt let in the cops jajajajajaja so they ate shit

The fact that she entered the garage took away the cops ability to safely get any closer, no cover, limited places to run, inability to clearly see her movements from a safe distance. This “escalation” was actually the police doing a fantastic job at minimizing risk of harm to any party.

Good thing I wasn’t the cop. I would have had no issues shooting what she was in her garage. Those officers were too kind.

I thought they were on her for some serious crime. Turns out it was a routine traffic stop for expired plates. That would be a misdemeanor at most, and even though in pursuit, the cops could not have entered her house without a warrant for a traffic ticket. I counted 8 police cars responding. Think of that, at least 8 officers for a traffic stop. Guns out, a high powered rifle. Absurd. Obviously there is not enough crime in Delafield to keep the police busy, and the police department is overstaffed. Poor taxpayers, they're getting hosed. For expired plates, you generally do not get arrested, although the car will likely be impounded, because you cannot have a car on the road that is not registered. So she was smart to take the car home, but she should have got out of the car right away. The garage is considered part of the home, and the police did not have the right to enter without a warrant, unless they were in pursuit for a felony, which I don't think was the case.

I did some more digging and learned that this white pickup was stolen, the lady was already on probation, and she's now serving 5 years for this stunt. If anyone wants to research, include "2023 Texas police arrest of katherine Johns, stole truck" in your search.
