This door dasher was on a delivery and when she got there she saw a gate, and behind the gate was a big dog, barking loudly and she felt it was being aggressive. She attempted to call the customer to get her dog, but the customer never picked up. The driver decides to wait around for about 10 minutes, and decides that she can’t deliver it because of the dog. This Lyft driver was watching a show on her phone with earbuds in her ears while driving this mother and daughter. When the mother asked her if she was watching a show the driver told her she was just listening to it. When she informed her that it is against the law to drive with earbuds (it is the driver turned it around on her and started yelling at her saying that when passengers listen to or watch videos it is distracting and dangerous to the driver. This woman is being accused of being rude by the worker, to me I think the worker was rude. She’s trying to return something without the packaging and was denied without it. So she went and bought another one and used that packaging to return the old one. She always had the receipt she just didn’t have the package. Either way she’s left with another item she didn’t need or return. I recall when I was at the pizza shop and a customer gave us the wrong address by mistake. She was babysitting and wanted pizza delivered to the customers house instead. I get a call from our driver saying he couldn’t find it, so I call her back and said that the driver couldn’t find the address, it didn’t even exist on gps. She argues with me how the home has been there for over 80 years and that my driver was too stupid to find it. I couldn’t find it on my Apple Maps either and asked her to double check the address. She told us the house number was 869 and it was actually 896. So after that I call my driver and he delivers it. Not even 5 minutes later she calls back complaining her food was cold. I told her it’s cold likely because the driver took a long time trying to find an address that didn’t exist. So once again she gets all belligerent. I refused to remake it or refund it based on her mistake and she claims I just lost a life long customer. Was I wrong for that, would you have remade it? Maybe I would have as a courtesy if she was cool about it but she wasn’t especially since it was her mistake. I usually don’t do anything unless we messed up.

We have a case of tip fatigue here . This woman ordered an 8 dollar pre made sandwich. After she paid, the associate asked her why she didn’t tip as she made her sandwich . She responded to her that it was her job to make sandwiches and got paid accordingly. I see this situation from both sides. I worked my way through college as a hairstylist and there were many times when I did really good work and spent a lot of time with the customer and they were very happy and wound up not tipping however, by the same coin, I understand this situation is different. They are paid to make the sandwiches and they’ve gotten so used to getting tipped that when somebody doesn’t they’re shocked I guess. The store associate was way out of line for asking her about the tip, though in my opinion. She never should’ve brought it up. It’s very unprofessional. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Once she got home, there was a knock on the door, usually the delivery driver leaves the food and leaves. This time they kept knocking for about 10 minutes. The man just sits on her porch for almost an hour. She calls a friend to come over, the driver then leaves the driveway but parks a few houses down. She ends up calling the police and it turned out that the man intercepted the food delivery, that’s why it showed that her food was delivered when she never got it. He was going to impersonate the delivery driver to get her to open the door. Some people said why not just buy the ice cream for her, to have a heart, because you never know what someone is going through. She keeps shouting at the officers. They ask her to please go inside because she’s interrupting their work. Where do you draw the line? When does it become harassment?
