No. Using tools to help you efficiently complete assignments and better understand information is the foundation of education.

We believe technology should be accessible to everyone. Let us help you bridge the gap.

Nope. It’s like all those annoying recipes with a novel before it and skipping straight to the recipe you came for to learn to make whatever it is.

This is going to be a serious concern going forward with AI at everyone's fingertips. Majority of students will absolutely take the easiest path every single time. We're going to have a future of idiots because AI does everything for them.

This is why young adults are ignorant. Following directions should be the easiest task to complete. READ 100 pages…….

It appears she is getting ready for the current world, which is what college is supposed to do. She is better prepared than the teacher to contribute to society.

Ok mellenials acting like we didn’t use cliff notes to help us write reports👀. But still, I get why this is still frustrating for the teacher bc the point is the practice of reading comprehension of the material and with Ai helping students to the degree it has, they aren’t learning the thinking skills needed. We couldn’t real time use cliff notes in class. Also, cliff notes is reviewed and published- Ai is wrong all the time.

Let's pretend two AI’s exist one does a summary of Jan 6 and says; "it was an insurrection." The other says; "it was a 'mostly peaceful' protest." That is the challenge to using AI to summarize for you. You never know what you are gonna get😉

She should’ve read the assignment, and I’ll tell you why. I’m not familiar with that AI tool, personally, but Google AI can be deceived. I’ve shown my kids the example where it advises you to stick cheese to pizza with glue. Some goofball on Reddit suggested it, and Google AI picked it up and gives it as bad info. Same potential here, I would think. Kids still need reading comprehension skills for times when AI isn’t available, or to be able to discern when AI is giving bad information. The more she reads, the faster and better she will get at it, like everything else in life.

@KerriPe23669593 It’s an advance form of “Cliff Notes” which is cheating.

The real question is what do we have colleges for?
