As an adult child of divorce I can say that divorce is a violence against children and does irreparable harm that can never be fully healed. “We just signed a contract” - what a sad, pathetic, distorted and wrong view of marriage! This mentality is a cancer on our society.

First off. She's not yours. It's just your turn. Second, she has no idea the shitty ass life that awaits her. Single mom near 40 doesn't end well. You can pull that shit off in your 20s, maybe 30s, but 40s... men will pretend to be there, bodycount +1, and leave. They'll be the fastest ghosts. She's in delulu land thinking that at 40 she's got some awesome bad boy husband waiting in the winds. If there's some bad ass man in his 40s somewhere he's going to pick a woman in her 20s, maybe 30s. There's a whole genre on youtube of crying divorced women. Dude is going to get financially rekt, but he'll pull out a much younger wife, start over, and probably enjoy himself more than what they have here. She's going to experience a lonliness she's never even thought possible. She's gettin' egged on by social media, feminism, and woman's empowerment, but those things don't match reality. It's going to be lonely nights with bottles of wine and waiting between one night stands with half baked left over men. She thinks it's going to be awesome and chad will be right there. She doesn't know what she has in her husband now. So sad.

He took their money and never paid the bills while telling her they were paid. Her car got repossessed while she was at work. He played video games nonstop and she found him cheating w multiple women online. She should have left him much sooner. Context is important.
