No this is odd, do the regulation in the kitchen when you are getting the cloth. Purposely doing it in front of them is giving the message ‘I’m so angry but look how hard I’m trying not to explode at you’- it’s passive aggressive

It's just some spilled coffee on a hard floor ... do you really need all of that time for emotional healing??? Just wipe the shit up and move on. It's really not that big of a deal

This is psychotic behavior. Get a towel and get a hold of your damn self.

saying “fucking shit” ? huffing and puffing? telling her to go sit and do not move? girl… we just go “uh oh accidents happen! less clean this up together. next time you can check and see if there’s anything on there baby!”

in my house we don't get angry at people who make mistakes... they didn't do it deliberately so how can you be angry? looks like a shit parent to me

Well I’d say it’s her fault for leaving her coffee at her ass then blaming the child for knocking it over then acting like that 🤣

Oh for God's sake! Grow up! Stop the drama! You're going to give you daughter massive anxiety growing up. She will constantly be trying to assess people's moods before she says anything.

She still way overreacted. Standing there with her head in her hands over a spilled drink. In front of her kid. This chick needs a lot more healing.

I’d rather you just yell than do all this passive aggressive ass breathing and gesturing.

You need that long to collect yourself after spilled coffee you put on a box… Kid should have yelled at you.

Every single person doing anything other than lifting this mother up should be ashamed of themselves. This is someone who is making space for other mothers who are struggling. And when that little girl gets older, she’ll understand something incredibly important: it is 100% impossible to be perfect. She’ll know that her mother showed strength, loved her fiercely, and wasn’t afraid to be human. You scoffers have absolutely no idea what this woman is going through. How disappointing some of these comments are. This is a woman with nothing to hide. Meanwhile, most of you can’t even wipe your own ass correctly, but somehow you’ve found the qualifications to critique somebody else’s motherhood. Maybe that was the fifth cup of coffee that baby knocked over that day. Maybe Mom had already cleaned up 47 other tiny disasters before the camera ever started rolling. You. Don’t. Know. I LOVE the invitation of this video. It says, “Here is real motherhood. Come in. You don’t have to pretend here

Drama queen. Tell the child it was an accident, and clean up the coffee and cup together. That way you make her feel guilty and she'll be tiptoeing around you. She'll constantly be unsure whether she's upsetting you. Grow up.

Hear me out: this is just as bad as yelling at her.

JFC. How about you don’t put a fucking drink on a box that kids are using for a fort?

She’s retarded if she thinks a kid isn’t going to play with a cardboard box that big.

This is awful… This literally damages children as badly as hitting them. Teach your kids that mistakes are okay and work with them to fix them or else they will become chronically anxious perfectionist with self esteem issues and a nervous system stuck in survival mode.

This mom is mental. Her infant is screaming in the background and shes posting videos on how to maintain calm over a spill that can be cleaned up with 2 paper towels.

This is nuts, no way she needs to cope that hard...just tell the kid to go get a towel while you slide box out of the way. She looks old enough to want to help, things are gonna spill, accidents happen, teach her the appropriate solution.

This lady has terrified this child into complete silence. My mom was like this. There was no pleasing her. Oh and overstimulated but recording? Gtfoh

Shits gonna freak her kid out way more than a simple “god dammit” and moving on

Performative shite. Daughter whole time wondering why she was asked to move a box her Mom had clearly set up coffee on for views.

What is this over stimulated bullshit, I had 4 babies under 5, I would have soothed the crying baby instead of letting it cry, said “oops” to the spilled drink, drop a towel on it and clean it when the baby is ok. The dramatics from these mothers is pathetic.

JFC why must everything be a performance? It’s an “oops! here, let’s work together to clean this up, momma will help you” at best. If she keeps up this crappy acting, in 10 years this mom will be complaining about how dramatic and entitled her daughter is…

When my kids were little with any drink I just expected it to get spilled.

“She watches me regulate” she watches you over-emote your anger and internalizes that you don’t voice your true emotions but feel a great amount of upset over small things like small coffee, she is learning to step on eggshells around you.

This is worse than yelling, imo. It's s a psychological guilt trip by manipulation. Ffs.

Well why is the coffee on there in the first place? When kids around me spill stuff I just tell them it’s okay and we clean it up together. They don’t cry. They help me clean it up. Something’s off. I don’t think this kid feels safe.

She is doing entirely too much over a spilled drink, I can see if it were on carpet or something important but it wasn’t. The amount of time she took just standing there the spilled drink could have been up already, acting like this for views is weird

it’s not even carpet

I mean maybe don't put your drink on top of a cardboard box. Mom needs actual therapy instead of doing this weird "emotional regulation" thing. I don't think this is a healthy way to express your frustration in front of your kid.

The damage is done....you're "regulating" while that child is stiff with anxiety....that she'll never shake off until you recognize the difference between an accident and a on purpose....and respond appropriately....

Ngl if my mom acted like this over a relatively minor accident (she did) I would still fear her and anticipate the worst if something more serious happened (I did)

I would hate to see how she reacts to actual problems

Maybe she would be less aggravated if her pants weren’t cutting off her circulation ? MAAM your ankles and feet are swelling from your weird little skinny jeans 😭

This actually helps me a lot. Kids do need to see how adults self regulate.
