This is so wrong. This is not my America. This family did not deserve this. No one does. This regime is coming for all of us.

I read that her husband was going to join them shortly and there’s a part of me that is glad he wasn’t there because I feel strongly that if he had been, we’d be hearing this story from a brand new widow.

As someone who was a victim of a home invasion robbery almost 40 years ago, I still suffer PTSD. But I’m lucky. I’m white. I’m privileged. And, no, police never did catch the guys. I can’t even begin to imagine how compounding this will be for her and her kids futures. Evil!

This is an insane story.. I wish more people would hear about this.. Americans should be flipping out, but the only one covering it is @maddow and local news.
