I love Mandy Moore! Definitely remember these videos on TRL back then! I know she looks down on her earlier pop albums, but I love her first 2 albums . I think they’re great. But I don’t consider her a Britney copycat. Or Christina or Jessica or anyone else back then they really were just being themselves. Britney was just the biggest artist out of all of them. But honestly, they all did great doing their own thing. The US music scene is so big that there’s room for every artist to succeed.
