One warm afternoon in southern Georgia, early spring 1990, a huge storm burst upon us. I put my 4 year old and 2 year old in their rain gear and left my infant sleeping and took my kids out to dance in the rain. Later, one of my neighbors saw me and asked me why? Why not? Southern rains are exceptionally beautiful - not hurricanes, just the rain. Always stay inside if there's lightning anywhere, of course.
