SHE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY AMENDMENTS! Responding to a question from Simon Hoare MP asking if she will accept amendments to the assisted suicide Bill, Lauren Edwards says she will not. The House were vocal in their disapproval.

Why the protest when challenged ? Surely an open debate is the best thing for an unpopular Assisted Dying Bill ? What is in the Bill that people are so worried about? Death is final. It is a serious thing to propose death by the state. I would like the Assisted Dying Bill to be completely shelved if there is sufficient doubt that it is ethical; reasonable and kind.
