My wife bought a brand new iPhone at the Apple store located at Jakande, Lekki Phase 1,Lagos last September. We decided to trade it in for a new one today at the Apple Store located at Westfield Stratford City Arcade (London) a few minutes ago Only God did not let them call the police on us The attendant scanned the IPhone and declared that it had been reported as stolen. Stolen from where? It was not a used iPhone It was new, purchased from an approved Apple Store and we have all the receipts intact The attendant saw our indignation and went ahead to consult with her superiors They scanned again and they declared that it was reported “missing”. They adjusted their language from stolen to missing and told us it has zero swap value. I was not shocked at all even though I should be. Nigerians like cutting corners for unhealthy gains and they always believe this is good business for them as long as they were able to make a buck. Somehow we were able to walk out of that Apple Store without any drama but I remember telling my wife that we would have had a lot of explaining to do if they had a policy that required that they must report such incidents to the police. Nigerian business people must try to do better than this There is something called integrity, it has a higher value than the dirty gains they think they are getting by playing dirty. I have always insisted on buying things in Nigeria because it helps the economy but I can see the reason many prefer to shop abroad. We must do better than this as a people. -GSW-

I went from ZERO($0) to 5 figures in less than 5 months The year 2024 was a defining year for me and a lot of my friends. This story is one I should have told since but was waiting for the right time It all began in August after losing a cumulative of $20,000. That was literally all I had left with me and was down to less than $300. They say it all begins when you are down to your last 1 million and funny how I didn't even have up to a million Over the course of several days I began asking myself questions as to what I would have done with the money. I could have given my parent their dream house or gotten a car for myself, my mum and started my Agric business. Well, that was how Anxiety started with heavy palpitations and a pulse of 130 Not to bore you, allow me explain step by step as to how I bounced back 1) God - I wont lie to you, God and Prayers are very important in this WEB3. We have very few Normal people on here as this space is toxic enough to destroy you and your mental health 2) Network - See, I know all your idolos are telling you to grind hard which is factually correct but the real profits in this life are from who you know. Check SAYRAAH #WID 📈📉📊 content on networking for more information 2) Excellence - One little lesson I've learned from life is that excellence in itself is not restricted to a particular sphere but its a way of life. I strongly believe the reason all my clients refer me like their lives depend on it is because I handle my job with a unique style of excellence. Starting from my personal page to my clients jobs and even mannerisms 3) Hard work - This aspect has been misused so much. Hard work although very vital must be accompanied with a lot of smart work for you to have results. Scripture shows us that there is a possibility for two people to engage in similar work while they get different result. The one with the smaller result was termed a FOOLISH MAN and the one with better results was called a WISE MAN. The difference is in the knowing, you need to learn how to actually work hard 4) Voice out - Make sure you always voice out when you are not doing as much as you are supposed to. I have a lot of my guys that I tell intricate stuffs about my money-making journey and everyone puts heads together to ensure we all make money I might sound like aspire to perspire but the reality is, bouncing back is difficult but I want you to know that your hard work will eventually pay off I could have just said GOD DID but I know there's someone out there that might need this. Don't stop and don't settle, your future will thank you for it Over the next few days, I would be sharing some opportunities I recently found that I'm sure will print you money. Stay glued

Today, I heard the most wonderful and uplifting thing. Andrew Bragg gave a commitment to leave the Liberal Party if it dropped Net Zero and exited the Paris Accord. A treaty that should never have been signed. It is the shadowy figures behind Andrew Bragg, Alex Hawke and the rest of the useless Labor/Teal-“moderate”-left-faction of the Liberal Party that got the party and the country into this mess. They rolled Tony Abbott, who won a mandate, promising to scrap the carbon tax. They have betrayed that promise ever since. Our energy woes have been a long time coming. We didn’t just wake up one day in an energy poor and deindustrialised nation. We have been under sustained attack for decades, an attack that has been marshalled by the left of politics. They control Labor, they have ruined the Liberals and have overrun just about every institution in the country. It is why the business council, sounds the same as the Australia Institute, and they both sound the same as the Greens. We are a nation in a hole, and Bragg admitted as much in his interview on Insiders today. We really need more coal, because the energy transition is failing. It is worse than that, the transition has failed. It was a bad idea, just like the rest of Net Zero. Our predicament is the result of irresponsible governments across Australia. Labor and Liberal, both have set policies that destroyed coal as the backbone of our grid, as they duchessed the Green grifters around their respective states across Australia. They played along with whatever bad idea the Greens were spouting at the time. Close this facility, replace it with a windmill. No to nuclear. No to gas. Close it, shut it, and replace it with fantasy. Turnbull, Kean, Perrottet, Berejiklian, Andrews, Morrison Albanese, and all of the rest, on a unity ticket that flushed our energy future down the toilet. All because they were afraid to upset Greta Thunberg. Because they were afraid to upset a youth, that they allowed our institutions to indoctrinate into a cult of ignorance. The world is slowly pulling in a new direction. Because hard reality has chased down fantasy. They’re waking up to the monorail that is ‘green’ energy, and ripping out the tracks. The National Party spurred by One Nation have cottoned on, and the Liberals will be dragged into the modern era, kicking and screaming. There is no doubt that if they don’t drop the Net Zero cake, and all of the icing that goes with it, they will never be a party of government again. Which brings us back to Andrew Bragg. Australia would be better off if he was not pretending to oppose Labor from the Liberal benches. We need people in opposition that understand the problems we have as a nation, and how to solve them. Not people who have only ever worked in the industry of politics, sending happy snaps along the way. Bragg knows his only chance at a job in the red house is through the blue team. He knows that blue voters don’t prioritise action on climate. But he sits there wasting a space advocating against the things the people that vote for him want. So if he had any decency, he would go, today. Because with friends like Andrew Bragg, you don’t need enemies. I just want Australia back.

I've been refraining from addressing this person because frankly she's irrelevant to my life, even though she's been obsessed with me for years. But her recent uptick in psychotic behaviors finally warrants a post. Jess Machado could not be any more accurate if her life was on the line. Just dropping truth bombs like it's Christmas morning. If I were Aidan, I would invest in a state of the art security system equipped with cameras at every angle, nuke my devices, make the switch to a Droid (make fun of me all you want), get a private security detail, and sleep with one eye open for the rest of my Goddamn life. Meredith "Swimfan" O'Neil should know that I know so much more than she could ever imagine about the crimeS she's been committing. People have been flooding my DMs (and phone calls 😉) with unsolicited evidence of everything she's done (from the last 3 years; to her antics after her lackluster publicity stunt of a relationship ended when she was dumped; to her most recent activities). I know who has helped her. I have people who want to testify under oath against her. I have. It. All. This woman deserves no sympathy. She's been conning everyone on the internet since she first sunk her teeth into the prey she had been stalking for a year prior. She knew what she was getting into with Aidan as she sought him out in JAIL. She knew he was a womanizer. She chose that, thinking she was "different" and better than everyone around her. The sweet innocent act never fooled me for a second. But it fooled many others. I'm going to make sure it never fools anyone again.

What if any preparations have you seen Iran make ahead of the war? Can you discuss It’s missile capabilities? Any intelligence capabilities? Any surprises it might happen in store? When the 12-day war ended, I estimated that Iran would need about six months to recover, including its nuclear program. Contrary to popular belief, Iran did not lose its entire long-range or medium-range air defense network; while some launchers were damaged, the primary targets of the Israeli strikes were the radar systems. Once the radars were neutralized, Iran successfully hid the bulk of its remaining batteries, leaving much of its arsenal intact. In contrast, short-range systems like the Tor-M1 and domestic variants were heavily engaged against cruise missiles, often being lost or damaged only after their ammunition was completely exhausted. Since then, Iran has worked to rebuild its destroyed radar network and, above all, to implement a genuine counterintelligence doctrine. The Mossad operations against Iranian radars and air defense systems have shaped new perimeter defense and counterintelligence doctrines not only in Iran but in other countries as well. If we look at the quantity of weapons and the organization of armed groups during Iran’s most recent protests, I would say the problem of foreign intelligence operations inside the country remains severe. This seriously threatens much of Iran’s capabilities, and I foresee a wave of sabotage operations as a new war draws closer. Iran has begun receiving collaboration from China across multiple areas, from satellites to internal counterintelligence, but it may still take some time for this to produce tangible results. During the last years, the Mossad relied heavily on cell phones, using SMS for recruitment and accessing device GPS for target location. Iran has since focused intensely on preventing any repetition of this, and on this specific issue, the Chinese appear to have provided support. Although foreign intelligence services have operated extensively inside Iran, the scale of any armed opposition groups is negligible compared to the Iranian armed forces, which could still draw on allied paramilitaries and militias in neighboring countries, including the Houthis. Iran has become a missile power with a stockpile far larger than Western estimates suggest. As early as 1998, Iran was already producing missiles with ranges exceeding 1,000 km, and it has continued doing so ever since, developing 12 to 15 different models in that range - meaning all are capable of reaching Israel. That is nearly 30 years of continuous missile production, resulting in a stockpile of several thousands. Another area where Iran has emerged as a global power is drones, including underwater ones. Iran’s UUVs have evolved rapidly into mass-produced models with integrated AI, and I believe they hold some major surprises in reserve. A key point today is that the AN/TPY-2 radars, which played a critical role in tracking Iranian missiles, would be among the first targets to be engaged. These high-powered X-band radars are the backbone of regional missile defense, providing essential data to THAAD and Patriot batteries. However, because they are large, stationary, and emit high-energy signals, they are highly vulnerable to a first-strike or saturation attack, which would effectively 'blind' the entire defensive network. Obviously, a defense budget of nearly one trillion dollars cannot be compared to Iran’s, but the real question is whether the cost and effort are worth the potential casualties. Even without Israel, the Americans maintain an immense advantage in aerial operations over Iran; however, as I have stated before, this superiority does not translate to the maritime theater.

🇷🇺 Why wasn't the Omsk oil refinery better protected? 😁🔽 “Ukrainian drones reached the Omsk refinery — the largest in the country, accounting for almost 10% of all oil refining. The refinery supplies all of Western Siberia and the Urals. It is reported that FP-1 drones struck a unit with a capacity of 8.4 million tons of oil per year out of the plant’s total capacity of 22 million tons. The Omsk refinery is such an obvious and attractive target that it was bound to be reached sooner or later. And it was. From the Ukrainian border to Omsk is more than 2,500 km. The FP-1 flies at a speed of 140–180 km/h — that is 14–17 hours of flight in a straight line, but the drone most likely had to bypass air defense zones, so it would have taken longer. That means it took off yesterday evening and arrived today during the day. And this is a slow propeller-driven device that could have been detected in advance, its target could have been predicted, and it could have been tracked all the way to Omsk. In that time, mobile groups could have been redeployed, local forces alerted, aviation scrambled. Twenty hours, after all. Why didn’t this happen? Once again, the answer, I think, should be sought not in technology but in the structure of the Russian vertical of power itself. Imagine officials at all levels, from the Kremlin to Omsk. To organize any kind of defense system, someone has to take the initiative: find resources, involve unusual, non-system people who might be able to solve such tasks, although it’s not certain. Coordinate it with a dozen agencies, agree on coordination without calls to Moscow, cover everything with paperwork so as not to later be prosecuted for misuse of funds. And even after all that, there is still a high chance the drone will break through — and then they will have to figure out how exactly it got through and rebuild the defense again. But the main question is — who will be responsible for the first failure? That very initiative-taking official who made the decision himself? He is supposed to be held accountable for the failure. So he will be removed. By the way, until he showed up, everything was calm, Ukrainian drones weren’t arriving, and as soon as he started being active — they started arriving immediately. Maybe he’s an SBU agent, huh? Let’s be honest — would you, in his place, take on defending an oil refinery?” — Russian political blogger Igor Dimitriev Video: Exilenova+

The US can apply pressure, but Iran is not Venezuela. The choice to arm groups in Iran instead of investing in peaceful protests eliminated all chances for the movement seeking greater change and freedom. Although President Trump is discussing support for the protesters and possible aid, I don't believe there are resources available for that. Although Iran is facing severe problems with electricity and water, in addition to high inflation and debts from the 12-day war, they have accelerated repairs on military installations as well as in the missile cities. The manufacturing and the pace of refurbishment of missiles produced before 2015 and with liquid fuel, such as the Shahab-3, Emad, Ghadr, and the Soumar cruise missiles, are proceeding at full steam. A country like Iran can recondition more than 1,000 of these missiles in 6 months. Anyone who thinks Iran's missile stock is somehow limited is deluding themselves. The missile cities are fully loaded. There may be shortages of water and electricity in the country, but missile production there has proven to be a priority. Furthermore, a new attack on Iran could unite the country and lead to violent retaliations against various American bases, in addition to closing the Strait of Hormuz with more than 20 submarines and thousands of anti-ship missiles with ranges exceeding 1,000 km, causing daily economic losses of billions to the world. And there's another thing to worry about. The US sent Israel more than 90,000 tons of bombs that were dropped on Gaza and Iran. This left American stocks in a position where they have not yet been replenished. The same goes for air defense missiles from both the US and Israel, which have not yet been restocked. The entire situation is being evaluated by the US. Iran used little of what it has in the 12-day war, mainly because it knew it had been caught by surprise and was without strategic air defense systems. It preserved a large part of its military units. Today, it is likely that Iran would treat any attack and the proportional retaliation as matters of survival. Furthermore, Iran is more under Chinese and Russian influence than American, another point that differs greatly from the Venezuela situation. President Trump is already dealing with problems in Venezuela and now this Greenland issue. Given the weapon stock issues, Iran's potential retaliations, and the matters Trump is still resolving, I don't think an attack on Iran is likely, unless it's something small and symbolic.

On the second day of recruiting myths… Myth #2: “The name on the front of your jersey doesn’t matter.” There is some truth here. But people usually say this to make you feel better if you’re not on a team in the “recruiting bubble.” And yes of course there are always outliers. If you’re Montana Fouts, you could show up playing for the Butterflies and coaches would still be lined up drooling at the fence. But for most of us? The jersey does matter. Especially if you don’t have true 5-star size or can’t blow people away with elite metrics. I know this because I’ve been on both sides of it. Same player. Same work ethic. Completely different response from coaches. Why does the jersey matter more than people admit? First impressions. If a coach doesn’t recognize your club as one that consistently produces players at their level, you have to overwhelm them with performance and numbers just to get the same look. What matters even more than the jersey name is the coach attached to it. My last club, Rising, was brand new. But my coach, Steve Appel, had a lot of successful former players at top 25 programs. Coaches knew him. Trusted him. We were at the best fields and no one cared what was on the front of our jerseys. At my first tournament with that team, I saw more college coaches than I had in my entire recruiting journey before that. It’s true. College coaches aren’t recruiting a jersey. They’re recruiting you. But your jersey affects: •what fields you play on •who stops to watch •how risky you look on paper A well-known club with proven coaches comes with built-in credibility. Can you get recruited without that? Yes. I did. But if you’ve read my book, you know how many things had to line up for that to happen. So is there truth to this myth? Yes. But most of the time, when people say it, they’re trying to protect you from a harder truth: Recruiting isn’t just about how good you are. It’s also about who’s willing to vouch for you. And your jersey is a powerful indicator of that before a coach sees you even pick up a ball. #RecruitingRules Rule #6: The lifeblood of recruiting is relationships. And whether you like it or not, the front of your jersey is part of that. Photo Caption: Top image my OG team, AZ Steel after winning the Colorado Sparkler Supplemental Power Pool. Bottom image with steve appel after winning PGF Nationals. My original team eventually made it into the “recruiting bubble” the summer after I committed. We were a solid competitive team at the national club level, but having played for both, no one will ever convince me that my recruiting opportunities would have been the same regardless of which jersey I was wearing. Completely different worlds. I wouldn’t change my path. I ended up exactly where I always dreamed to be, and my path made me who I am, but in my case believing this myth for so long cost me time and my family money.
