I really love coming to Tamil Nadu. I love the people of Tamil Nadu. For me, the people of Tamil Nadu, its culture, history, and language are the greatest teachers. Whenever I want to understand India, I look at the great Tamil poets, your history, your traditions, and your influence on the rest of the world. It acts as a mirror for me, through which I can understand India. You have shown the rest of the country how to walk on the path of social justice. And thus, we started the Bharat Jodo Yatra from here. Whenever I come to this great land, I come with humility and with my head bowed to your past and traditions. Because the only thing that a person like me can do is learn from your traditions and history. At the same time, the Tamil people have always showered love and affection on me and my family.
