BJP’s MP Nishikant Dubey hits back at Congress and the party looks visibly rattled by his sharp attack using documented books on Edwina and Nehru. Congress and Rahul Gandhi are comfortable debating an unpublished book in Parliament, but completely avoid published records that expose the privilege and excesses of the Nehru era. Creating fake outrage is easy, confronting their own uncomfortable history is not.

It’s high time that LoP understands the rules of the house. Parliament is not a stage for baseless narratives or unverified claims. Every word spoken here carries constitutional weight and must be backed by facts, records and accountability. Mr. Rahul Gandhi, if you wish to level any charge, place proper documents on the table of the House. Submit authenticated records. Sign your claims and take full responsibility for every word you utter. Assertions do not become truth merely by repetition. Rahul must respect the Chair, irrespective of the political party the person occupying the Chair belongs to. Calling the Chair ex-Congress person is a direct attack on it. Rahul has been habitual in insulting the members of the House with reckless, unsubstantiated allegations. The dignity of Parliament will not be compromised to accommodate political theatrics.

A Leader of Opposition in Parliament of Uganda and Parliamentary Commissioners decide the welfare of the MPs, Parliamentary staff and offer strategic leadership for Parliament. Whereas other Members of the Commission like Speaker & Dept Speaker are voted by MPs, & whereas other members of the Commission like Prime Minister & Minister of Finance are vetted by Parliament, you have a LOP who is self accounting. This business of a few individuals seating in Kavule or Najjanankumbi to decide on how Parliament is governed must stop! BJP SPOX SHIVAM TYAGI SLAMS RAHUL GANDHI 🔥 “Rahul Gandhi says, ‘We don’t want a lecture.’ But if you’re part of the Indian Parliament, you have a responsibility to listen.” “If you don’t want a lecture, don’t come to the House! Sit somewhere in Vietnam, enjoy your vacation, switch off your phone and disappear for 20 days.” “Parliament is not the Gandhi family’s house. You cannot simply say, ‘I don’t want to talk to him or listen to him.’” He further said Amit Shah had made it clear that he was ready for discussion, but the opposition proved just 10 minutes later that it was not ready.

#WATCH | Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis says, "First of all, I want to appeal to and challenge Mr Rahul Gandhi: If he has the courage and truly wants the welfare of students, then he should discuss it in Parliament. In a democracy, the most important place for discussion and decision-making is Parliament. Why do you run away from discussion? Because you fear that you will be exposed. Just as papers were leaked in Karnataka under your rule, just as papers were leaked in Telangana under your rule, when you were in power in Rajasthan, papers were leaked eight times. Not only that, even in Punjab, papers were leaked at least three times under your party's rule. Stop playing politics by putting a gun on the shoulders of our students. Stop this escapism and show the courage to come to Parliament and discuss. This is my challenge to Rahul Gandhi and the opposition leaders: come to Parliament and discuss the matter..."

#WATCH | Delhi: On Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi's statement inside the Parliament, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "I think there was an overreaction by the government side because as far as I understood, what Rahul ji wished to raise was a matter that is already in the public domain. He was basing himself on a published article in the Caravan magazine, which quotes a memoir by General Naravane that is still unpublished. So the government, instead of objecting to the fact that the book has not been published, should have let him speak because, in any case, the magazine is publicly available. Anyone can read the same article that Rahulji has read. It seems to me that the overreaction of the government has needlessly paralysed the house this afternoon. And to my mind, frankly, it would have been healthy for parliament to have allowed the discussion to proceed, which is what parliament is for... The best answer, if the facts are wrong, is to correct the facts, not to prevent the facts from being aired..."

My questions for Rahul Gandhi! India will never allow you or your party to use our Army as a political PAWN . 1. Parliament runs on a Rule Book, not propaganda. Quoting any book or memoir requires an original source. Yet you insist on weaponising an unpublished, unauthorised manuscript of Gen Manoj Naravane after it was ruled inadmissible. Why? Because facts on record demolish your narrative. 2. The same former Army Chief has publicly stated that not an inch of Indian land was lost—a fact you conveniently ignore while cherry-picking leaked lines to cast doubts on the Government and indirectly on the Army. 3.And if The Caravan is your gospel truth, then have the honesty to own its virulent attacks on your own party. Its Executive Editor Hartosh Singh Bal has repeatedly described Congress under the Gandhis as hollow, directionless, elitist—and has held Indira Gandhi responsible for disastrous misadventures like Punjab. Will you take responsibility for that history too? Or is belief in journalism strictly selective—only when it suits attacking the Govt and the Armed Forces? Parliament is not your op-ed page. India’s Army is not your political prop. This isn’t dissent—it’s deliberate narrative warfare, and the country sees through it. Rahul Gandhi Congress

#WATCH | Guwahati | Union Home Minister Amit Shah says, "Sometimes he (Rahul Gandhi) sits at the door of Parliament and eats tea and pakoras. Does he not realise what an appropriate venue for having breakfast is? The Parliament is the highest institution of our democracy. Even sitting there and protesting is not a democratic practice. But you have gone two steps beyond protesting. You are eating tea and pakoras. This is defaming India across the world... Today, from this platform, I want to strongly condemn both incidents, which occurred at the behest of senior Congress leader, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and with his own participation in Parliament. I don't believe anyone in the country would support this kind of activism. The opposition is against us. Oppose us. Protest as much as you can. You don't speak in Parliament. You run away. And where people from all over the world have come to see the strength of India, to see the potential of India's youth, you are diminishing their possibilities. The people of India will not forgive you."

On the one hand in Parliament, Rahul Gandhi wears a t-shirt saying Adani and PM are one but the fact is Adani and Revanth Reddy are best friends. Therefore, we are exposing the Congress and we will continue to expose them in the House also. If Rahul Gandhi can be allowed in Parliament, there's no reason why we should not be allowed here."

This is supposed to be an opposition Member of Parliament in Zimbabwe called Samantha Mureyani from Manicaland. This Member of Parliament spoke in Zimbabwe’s Parliament today. Despite being an opposition MP, she stated that she supports Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 sponsored by the ruling ZANUPF. She specifically spoke about her support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa remaining in office for an additional two years beyond the current constitutional term limit of 10 years. She also expressed support for the idea of extending presidential terms to seven years. This is the quality of some of the MPs sitting in Zimbabwe’s Parliament today. As I have said before, this is not just a Zimbabwean crisis or a Zimbabwean story. It is a regional story. When the political fallout from these developments begins to unfold and the economy deteriorates even further, it is countries such as South Africa and Botswana that will bear the brunt of increased migration pressures from Zimbabwe. That is what unfolded in Zimbabwe’s Parliament today. This MP was brought into Parliament by the charlatan-imposed opposition parliamentary leader, Sengezo Tshabangu, who captured the CCC party, taking advantage of the fact that it did not have a constitution or leadership structures. He falsely claimed to be the party’s Secretary-General, which he was not, and exploited the vacuum created by the absence of formal structures and leadership.

On day 1 of the monsoon session, we moved an adjournment motion on the NEET/CBSE issue. But the government is not even willing to listen. The Leader of the Opposition has the right to speak in Parliament. Today, when the Chair initially allowed him to speak, suddenly his microphone was switched off. The democracy is in grave danger. Parliament is the place where debate and discussion must take place. This government is completely afraid of discussions. The Prime Minister is not coming to Parliament. Instead, he is engaging in midnight drama. Rather than doing that, he should have come to Parliament and addressed the nation there. : Congress General Secretary (Org.) Shri K C Venugopal
