Today we celebrate the birthday of the Maestro! Professor Roy Bittan!! In my mind his contribution to Bruce’s music is immeasurable. His signature is all over all the major Springsteen classics. He has been labeled at times: Springsteen’s Secret Weapon”. And I definitely agree! Bruce : “Roy’s sound, beginning on Born to Run, is still the sound that many people relate to - along with Clarence [Clemons]’s sax - as the signature sound of the E Street Band.” To honor Roy, here is arguably (not really) the greatest outro to any Bruce Springsteen song ever! “Ryuichi Sakamoto & Tin Drum | KAGAMI+” Makes Its Japan Premiere KAGAMI+, a work that captures Ryuichi Sakamoto’s piano performance in three dimensions and reconstructs it in a mixed reality (MR) space, arrives in Japan for the first time. The exhibition runs from June 27 to October 12, 2026, at VS., a cultural a cultural apparatus in Umekita, Osaka. Tickets are now on sale, and the full programme for the long-awaited Japan premiere has been announced. KAGAMI was conceived and developed over the final four years of Sakamoto’s life in collaboration with Todd Eckert and the creative studio Tin Drum. Since its world premiere at The Shed in 2023, the work has been presented internationally in cities including London, Manchester, Taipei, Singapore, Melbourne, Pesaro, and Hong Kong, receiving wide acclaim. Wearing optically transparent headsets, audiences encounter an authentic representation of Sakamoto at the grand piano, realized through a unique form of dimensional photographic capture. His performance at the grand piano emerges within the space alongside ethereal visuals that respond to the music, allowing audiences to experience the performance at a proximity not possible in a conventional concert setting. The experience extends beyond sound and image. Video, photography, and text are integrated throughout the space, alongside a natural scent personally blended by Sakamoto, creating a multilayered sensory environment. The work has been described by The Guardian as “a magical experience.” For its Japan presentation, an expanded version of the work, KAGAMI+, created specifically for this exhibition, will be unveiled. Besides reading cool papers, my Twitter account is mostly used for catching up Formula 1 news. Very excited about Lando Norris 's great performance recently. Now we combine Formula Racing to AI research: The following video shows we train a Reinforcement Learning policy to drive a Dallara F317 in Monza and Barcelona Circuits autonomously in simulation. You can think of it as optimizing a Qualifying lap: You want the car to run a single lap, no opponents, with the fastest speed, and shortest lap time. We open-source the code to train RL in a racing simulator with Assetto Corsa, a widely deployed platform for esports. We also train with human demonstrations with multiple expert drivers including a professional e-sports driver. Interestingly AI is not beating the professional yet, but close. The hard work of our talented young lawyer, Sam Presvelos, paid off in June 2022 when evidence emerging in discovery in those earlier stages of the case caused then Attorney General David Lametti to reconsider the government’s position and the ‘vaccine mandate for travel’ was suspended with the implicit threat being made that they would do it again if they wanted to do so. In a moment of respite those millions of people, denied their fundamental Section 6 rights for nearly 9 months, could once again travel to see their loved ones and family events; to work; and to take much needed vacation time. This appeal, which will be heard at the Federal Court of Appeal in Toronto on November 3rd at 1pm Eastern Time, will consider whether Justice Kent Horne erred when he allowed the government’s motion to strike out two parts of our claim – those parts in relation to s.7 and s.12 of the Charter. Justice Horne allowed those parts in relation to s6 and s15 to go ahead to trial pending the outcome of this appeal and any further appeals that may follow. s.7 (life, liberty, security) deals with crucial rights that permit us all to decide for ourselves what happens to our body. We believe that the choice to accept a vaccine or not should be free of any sort of coercion or detrimental consequences imposed by any authority. They do not accept that the bar to their success in relation to s.7 is so high as to have no reasonable prospect of success and that their arguments should be allowed to proceed to trial. s.12 (cruel/unusual punishment) is normally heard in relation to the cruel and unusual punishment of people in the criminal justice system in relation to penal sanctions. We believe that then Prime Minister Trudeau developed the vaccine mandate as a deliberately cruel and unusual punishment for those Canadians who were exercising their s7 right to refuse the Covid-19 vaccines and, at the same time to use that punishment very publicly as a political campaign promise and ‘wedge issue’ in the 2021 General Election. The appeal will not be easy, but our case is in great hands with Sam Presvelos, the young litigator who achieved so much for millions of people in Canada who were, until June 2022, denied the right to even leave their country! If we succeed the government may then try to further appeal the decision to the Supreme Court of Canada. Young Bleed has passed away at the age of 51, just a week after performing at the No Limit and Cash Money Verzuz in Las Vegas. On Monday (Nov. 3), the Baton Rouge, La. rapper's son, Ty'Gee Clifton, confirmed news of the former No Limit Records artist's tragic passing in a post on Instagram. "As of November 1, my dad gained his wings," Ty'Gee confirmed in the video. "My dad didn't have any real health issues. These are just chapters in life." Ty'Gee went on to explain that Young Bleed, born Glenn Clifton Jr., struggled with high blood pressure and the issue "spiked" at a party following the Verzuz. Young Bleed ultimately succumbed to a brain aneurysm. "Rip to the biggest legend I kno...Young Bleed!!!" Ty'Gee captioned the post. "Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u 💔💔💔 #youngbleed #mydad #myfather @therealyoungbleed I’m glad he went out in style!!!! One time fa the one time." Young Bleed made a name for himself on the Louisiana hip-hop scene in the mid-1990s and released his debut solo album, My Balls & My Word, on No Limit Records in 1998. The album, which would be certified gold, featured Young Bleed's breakout single "How Ya Do That," which he performed at the Verzuz last month. He would go on to release over a dozen more projects, including his most recent full-length release, 2022’s Dare’ Iza’ God. R.I.P.

It’s interesting that Katie brings up the Epstein files in relation to Trump but not Reid Hoffman who was friends with Epstein and apparently visited his NY home and the island. Also notice how Norm Eisen and a group of brainwashed formers are trying to get a judge in Florida to investigate the weaponization fund. Apparently a judge just put a pause on it. "look at this winrate bro, i'm cracked" he's not cracked. he's carried. here's the uncomfortable truth about e-dating in League: the FAKE couples are running Draven/Lulu or Twitch/Yuumi. the REAL ones are running Xayah/Rakan. and there's a massive skill gap between the two. DRAVEN + LULU (THE EASY COUPLE): ADC just Q's and auto attacks. Lulu does the rest. Draven gets caught? Lulu E and he's fine. Draven needs to kite? Lulu W speeds him up. Draven all-ins and int's? Lulu R makes him unkillable. this isn't synergy. this is life support. Draven doesn't have to position. doesn't have to know when to fight. doesn't have to respect cooldowns. because Lulu will bail him out. that 80% WR? it's not Draven being good. it's Lulu making a dogshit player look presentable. watch that Draven go solo queue: suddenly 48% WR. because without the mechanical babysitter, his actual gameplay is EXPOSED. XAYAH + RAKAN (THE REAL COUPLE): both players have to be GOOD. Xayah times her feathers. Rakan times his engage. they have to sync perfectly or both die. Rakan goes in alone? He's deleted in 0.5 seconds. Xayah doesn't follow? Rakan just inted the game. Xayah ults wrong? Rakan can't save her. Rakan W misses? The whole plan falls apart. this is actual coordination. this is actual partnership. there's zero room for one player to be carried. edaters that will never meet irl: "we run Draven/Lulu, 80% WR, we're unstoppable!" (one is smurfing, one is hardstuck, the matchup is just broken) life long couple: "we run Xayah/Rakan, 58% WR" (both players are actually cracked, both have to execute) the gap is VISIBLE with Xayah/Rakan. watched a "80% WR Draven" duo try to run Xayah/Rakan: suddenly they're 45% WR. why? because Lulu was hiding his terrible positioning. with Xayah/Rakan, there's no crutch. both players have to be GOOD. the Draven was getting kills because Lulu E gave him free trades. the Rakan has to actually know when to go in. has to actually time it. the Xayah has to know how to follow. has to position perfectly. no shields. no safety net. just skill. here's what separates real couples from fake ones: FAKE COUPLES: rely on one player's mechanics one person carries, one person scales for free if you remove the OP support, the ADC crumbles comfortable but FRAGILE REAL COUPLES: both players have to be good both have to execute or both fail climbing together actually means both are skilled same WR in duo AND solo queue (because they're actually good) coordinated but FLEXIBLE you almost never see 80% WR Draven/Lulu duos in Grandmaster. because at high elo, the mechanical support crutch gets EXPLOITED. enemies respect Xayah/Rakan coordination. enemies abuse Draven/Lulu by punishing the ADC's positioning (which Lulu usually covers up). here's the real flex: not 80% WR on Draven with support carrying you. that's easy. 58% WR on Xayah/Rakan where both of you have to be CRACKED. that means something. that means you didn't get carried. that means you had to actually coordinate. that means both of you are actually good. most e-daters won't do this because it's uncomfortable. it's easier to pick Twitch/Yuumi and coast. it's harder to pick Xayah/Rakan and actually prove you're both skilled. the real test of a relationship isn't how many shields you can spam. it's how perfectly you can coordinate when there's no safety net. Xayah/Rakan at 58% WR beats Draven/Lulu at 80% WR every single time. one is actual skill. one is a stat check that's being gamed. you know which one you and your duo actually are. study the saskio way

(one is smurfing, one is hardstuck, the matchup is just broken) life long couple: "we run Xayah/Rakan, 58% WR" (both players are actually cracked, both have to execute) the gap is VISIBLE with Xayah/Rakan. watched a "80% WR Draven" duo try to run Xayah/Rakan: suddenly they're 45% WR. why? because Lulu was hiding his terrible positioning. with Xayah/Rakan, there's no crutch. both players have to be GOOD. the Draven was getting kills because Lulu E gave him free trades. the Rakan has to actually know when to go in. has to actually time it. the Xayah has to know how to follow. has to position perfectly. no shields. no safety net. just skill. here's what separates real couples from fake ones: FAKE COUPLES: rely on one player's mechanics one person carries, one person scales for free if you remove the OP support, the ADC crumbles comfortable but FRAGILE REAL COUPLES: both players have to be good both have to execute or both fail climbing together actually means both are skilled same WR in duo AND solo queue (because they're actually good) coordinated but FLEXIBLE you almost never see 80% WR Draven/Lulu duos in Grandmaster. because at high elo, the mechanical support crutch gets EXPLOITED. enemies respect Xayah/Rakan coordination. enemies abuse Draven/Lulu by punishing the ADC's positioning (which Lulu usually covers up). here's the real flex: not 80% WR on Draven with support carrying you. that's easy. 58% WR on Xayah/Rakan where both of you have to be CRACKED. that means something. that means you didn't get carried. that means you had to actually coordinate. that means both of you are actually good. most e-daters won't do this because it's uncomfortable. it's easier to pick Twitch/Yuumi and coast. it's harder to pick Xayah/Rakan and actually prove you're both skilled. the real test of a relationship isn't how many shields you can spam. it's how perfectly you can coordinate when there's no safety net. Xayah/Rakan at 58% WR beats Draven/Lulu at 80% WR every single time. one is actual skill. one is a stat check that's being gamed. you know which one you and your duo actually are. study the saskio way

When “The Cook, the Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover” (1989) was screened for the MPAA in America, they found it too extreme for the R rating, and offered the choice of an X rating or the limbo of an “unrated” status. Helen Mirren, to argue for the film's case in front of the ratings board, got on a flight to New York. She told them, "they absolutely could not legitimately criticize this film on its artistic merit. It may be pretentious, or boring, or whatever they want to say about it, but they can’t deny where its heart is.” Despite her best efforts, they denied the appeal. The producers were give the option of either an X rating or go unrated. They chose unrated as X was often associated with adult movies. Helen Mirren on the 'Strange' American ratings system: "Just in the last week, I’ve discovered I don’t know much about the American rating system The whole system is different in England, where a film like this is simply ’18 and over. And in France, anyone over the age of 14 can see this film I’m sure, because it’s primarily about food, s e x, violence, and art. To the French, the combination of those four elements is what life’s absolutely all about. But not in this country! Before I spoke to the ratings board, I hardly knew what the R rating meant, but I’ve come to realize the American system is pretty bad on both levels. I think it’s bad for adults, since it makes it difficult for them to see films they might really enjoy. And on the other side of it, children see films that I think are dangerous for them as well." She shook her head and continued, "The whole R rating depends on a strange sort of fantasy land, where all adults are responsible people, and children only ever go to the cinema with their parents. They don’t go with babysitters or older brothers, or with the local drug dealer. It’s this lovely sort of apple pie fantasy America, that not only doesn’t exist in America, it doesn’t exist anywhere. It puts too much belief in the responsibility of adults in one direction — enforcing the R rating — and not enough belief in the responsibility of adults to choose what they want to see in the other direction.
