Sherman’s progress has been incredible, and it hasn’t even been 48 hours. A little routine, lots of sniffing, calm exploration, and time to just be a dog has gone a long way. He’s checking in, asking for affection, showing solid recall, and even loading into his kennel on his... show more

Stalking your page for a Sherman update! Great job!

😂

I seriously feel like a stalker 🤣

❤️ progress unmatched

😂❤️

To think they would have just killed him if not for people like yourself 🥹

Gotta feeling I’m gonna be spending a lot of time in Los Angeles this year.

Sherman’s new life . Thank you Sir 🙏🏻💙

Almost… we’re getting him ready for his adopter so it will hopefully be a smooth transition.

There is still hope for humanity , thank you 🙏🏻💙

what a treasure-he looks so incredibly happy with you!

There’s something to these long transports. I’ve had dogs I was transporting to their owner (who had moved) and they wanted to stay in the van with me. 😂

@BettyB97322 I agree. I adopted my German Shepherd from a family who bought a puppy and realized she was too much. She came to me at 9 months and she didn't even know her name. Training helped, but the road trips I took her on were the things that taught her "home" is with her ppl.

@BettyB97322 There’s something about that black top therapy

Again, has he shown any of the behavior issues that those people claimed he had?

Not with me

Incredible

Hims a good boy

How do you not fall in love with Sherman? ❤️🐕❤️

I did

How are you going to handle giving Sherman to his new forever home in Kentucky 😥😥❤️🐕❤️

Oliver is being a good boy, too!

Hims always a good boy 😂

Soon he will be like this 🤣

So glad that you saved Sherman. Thank you for keeping us updated. ❤️🐾

It amazing how good he’s doing!

Almost a completely different dog in less than 48 hours

His transformation is unbelievable already!! From a depressed and scared shelter dog to such a happy, good boy! To think he was minutes away from being killed, and was labeled aggressive. Unbelievable! These shelters putting these awful labels on these dogs and then killing them is being exposed , and I’m here for it🙏

Sherman's blossoming spirit warms my heart deeply—thank you forever.

He literally just needed love. God bless you 🙏

I hope the reporters from LA see these updates and can do a story on how these animals are missidentified and rushed to euthanasia. These criminal shelters lie every day at the cost of countless of gentle and loving lives just like Sherman.

Sherman looks so happy. How could people not want to give dogs a chance after seeing a video like this?

Wow! That's amazing! There's light in them eyes! That's a happy dog!

Love these updates.

Omgosh! That is incredible! He is a really great dog. Thank you for saving him!

What a happy post! We have a small Ranch in NE OK. If you are ever coming through or if we can be a helping hand, please DM anytime. We have a place for you and any pups you have with you.

Love the GSD

This is just wonderful.

Best boy 🥹💗

Thank you for believing in him

He just wants to do the right thing 😭😭

Seems to me those guys in LA don't know their job when they decided he was 'unadoptable.'

That shelter that rated him a 3 and wanted to euthanize him needs to redo the way they verify and check these loving animals that are all stressed out. They almost killed a beautiful loving boy because someone doesn't know how to do their job. That's crazy

My Buddy was. Belgian Mal that I rescued at 5 months from the shelter. He jumped, nipped, forearm grabbed, returned twice and they wanted desperately to put him down. I walked in and they spent an hour trying to talk me out of taking him. We left the shelter and went straight for a long walk and swim at a local park. I then took him home where this "viscous" dog climbed up onto my chest and we slept for hours. He was perfectly trained and besides for the Mal bark was great with people and animals. He was a great dog from minute one, i took him everywhere with me. I began to notice that sometimes he would alert to random people, not aggressively but letting me know something was up. About three months later, i bumped into an old friend that assessed and trained dogs for police use and Buddy rushed him jumping straight into his arms. Here my friend actually was training him as a pup to sniff for drugs. Buddy was one of two dogs that were stolen in a break in where they only recovered one. The shepherd they recovered was in foster care due to an injury and wouldn't be able to serve. I was able to adopt and reunite them. They lived thirteen years as brothers and passed away exactly a week apart. This was taken the day I reunited them. Today we have a rottie that I rescued with a bite on her record. After tracking down the foster host she bit, I discovered it was because she was protecting another foster during a seizure. The foster host fought the rescue to keep her. It was only because of my rescue of Buddy that they let me take her. My rottie then rescued two kittens from the woods on my property, smuggling them into the house. One life saved has spiraled into so many others saved. Thank you for doing what you do!

What a good boy!! ❤️

Good boy Sherman! 🐕 He seems so happy at the park with you. 🥰

What a dream boy Sherman is… I hate to think of what fate might have befallen him of it hadn’t been for your persistence & getting the media involved was a stroke of genius💪❤️ Think we all know they so very many many shelter dogs who are GREAT dogs but have never been given a chance & are so needlessly killed💔 It’s all SO WRONG.

Although you had to go through hoops to get him, it was worth it in the end. A life SAVED and a bright future ahead 🎉🎉

Beautiful dog 🐕

Leo approves...🐕
