I was an ICU nurse for over 30 years, had a BS in nursing and in biology.I started working on a surgical floor in a city hospital there were several LPNs working there overseen by RNs but let me tell you, I learned a lot about hands on patient care from those LPNs.

She’s an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) you don’t need a bachelor’s degree. With a bachelors degree she can be and RN or BSN

Seriously?? I'm an RN,BSN. RNFA I worked full-time in the O.R. w/ 15 days/mnth of call. Double majored for my BSN & RNFA at same time & took care of 3 kids & 4 dogs. SHE ONLY works 3 days maybe? & 2wks off before an exam? HOLY SHIT
