Oh please, they bought houses for 20,000 that are now worth 1 million. They healed because inflation didnt eat all their income. Or and the men healed because they drank alcohol and the women popped xanax.

acting like other generations dont have to show up and dont have to deal with it is a crazy way of excusing yourself of any wrongdoing bc you were too lazy to deal with you emotions lmfao

She is wrong unless shes talking about the Boomer Generation's PARENTS. The Boomers have ruined everything their parents built, taken every handout possible while simultaneously taking them away for future generations.

They also didn't post their opinions on social media for money and dopamine hits.

When they're gone we will miss the stability that the boomers brought to the world. We owe them an eternal debt of gratitude. That said, calling out "boomerism" is fair game.

Except, they didn’t heal. They did sacrifice and they did do the best they could, but they passed on what they could not resolve. It’s not about blaming. It’s about identifying dis-function. It has to go deeper than pop-psychology. Our cultural pathology is an epigenetic malady.

I am sick of the misuse of the word empathy. It is sympathy that all these people have for others. One cannot truly have empathy until they too have actually had the same experience. Example : I cannot have empathy for the person whose mother died as my mother is still living. I do have sympathy.

That goes to show how much we are being controlled. Our thoughts, emotions, finances... Empathy shouldn't be about self-pity, but be supportive towards others. To this day, a sane world would be growing out of empathy and level up to cherishing abundance in all senses. Upgrade!

Whose parents “showed up?” They were never there! That’s why GenX has a slew of creative chefs bc we had no choice but to cook for ourselves since age 9 🫠

I recognise that we stand on the previous generations, but in the case of babyboomer, it's different. in terms of representation the babyboomers have always been the vote, and still are. Our generation is robbed of it's decisions by a group of people who are out of touch!

theyre both wrong. the only difference between boomers and millenials is the technology boom. now we can see what the entire neighborhood is doing at our fingertips instead of waiting for the nightly canasta game. and the internet had provided us with instant information.

True. And they had infinite opportunity and my dad could buy a house and make a living on 1 income and got to keep 1 job for like 40 years They had it tremendously easier. I'm at 2100 applications with an associates, 10 tech certifications, and almost a B.S They had only luxury

The children you create are not entitled to thank you for anything you do for them. They are your responsibility until you die. You owe them, not the other way around.

I only mock the weakest and most selfish generation. Fucking boomers. Hippies that never grew up and never accomplished shit.

Actually they tore it down. My parents generation had it easy and created the greed that permeates today's society and keeps us all down
