Candace is upset Charlie’s former head of security won’t respond to her messages, and she frequently does garbage like this—she’ll marvel at why so and so won’t respond to her messages or agree to speak to her. She doesn’t like it when she’s ignored or not given attention or taken seriously. She’ll attempt to manipulate her audience with the line of, “why wouldn’t they want to clear their name if they’re truly innocent?”—or something similar. But she neglects to acknowledge that people close to this case (and also the general public) are intimate with the fact that she’s a bad actor.
