She's slightly taller than Ness, as is usually shown in every reference I could find. It's cute that she kinda tilts her head to look at him due to the height difference.

Her biggest difference relative to the usual portrayals of Paula is in her hair. As is common in this project, the original sprite is always the biggest guideline and reference, so I got a little creative with it by avoiding the bangs altogether in this case.

She is technically one of the most complex characters and that's because of her dress and the complexities that come with rigging and controlling dresses in realtime 3D. It needs controls on the rig level, engine level and shader level, and even then sometimes issues happen...
