Hmm….growing up as a Black kid during the 80’s, most of the folks that looked like me on tv were portrayed as criminals. Like 85 percent lol. Don’t get me wrong, you’d have your Denzels (st elsewhere) and Diahann Carols (Dynasty), but that was not the norm. Let the LGBTQ get their representation on screen. Be glad they get it. We need more of it. And while you’re at it, get me more Asian and Indigenous representation as well.

Overall i think she is misunderstood because of her delivery. Delivery is key with these topics. However, i get where she is coming from.
