Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after smoke was seen billowing from the storage container. Moments later, the fireworks inside began erupting. Firefighters are currently on scene (15:03) and are working to extinguish the blaze. The shipping container is situated in close proximity to a business complex. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage. In the interest of public safety, Metro Police Officers have requested that a section of the road be closed.
