It's true that it's traditional, but it's only eaten in one region of the country. Ninety percent of the population has never eaten this dish in their entire lives. They don't find it appealing at all.

It is abomasum, a part of sheep’s stomach. It isn’t widely eaten by Turks, it is basically an arabic originated meal.

A type of fast food that is usually eaten at night and is made in the city of Adana, where I live in Turkey.

It is made from the abomasum (the fourth stomach compartment of a sheep or lamb), which is thoroughly cleaned, stuffed with a seasoned mixture—typically rice, minced meat, onions, spices like paprika, black pepper, allspice, and salt—then sewn shut and slow-cooked (often boiled or baked).

It's like tripe. Although it look yummier than tripe and onions. It is not a penis.
