When I was 19, a thug took me out in a Sunday League game. The ball was miles gone, he basically did it as I was having a good game. I'm 42 next month and still struggle with the ankle/lower leg injury. They don't think about that side of it (lifetime injury).

This is a lot of the problem with Sunday league now. You have these shit counts in teams just go out to hurt people to make up the gap. If you’ve got a family and a mortgage, it simply isn’t worth the risk of some fat prick ruining it
