Midjourney sref + Sora 2 Pro is the sauce. With one Midjourney style image, you can give a specific style for your entire project. I created two different 12-second clips and edited them together. Some details aren’t fully consistent, like the iPod or AirPods because the clips were made separately from a single image (Character in a specific style). It could be fixed in post-production, but that would take more time, and this was more of an experimental test. It would be great to add the actual product image with the current one to maintain product consistency. I feel like if there were a way to add 2–4 images into this workflow, it could open up a lot more possibilities and consistency. With an API, it could be possible. Or let’s see what Veo 3.1 has to offer.

Effective expression capture is key for conveying emotions accurately with your Clones. Our new cinematic rig has been constructed with flexibility in mind. We've carefully refined the 52 blend shapes that drive the facial expressions, and the face controls themselves, to achieve a more natural look. For Ghost Of Yōtei we rebuilt our frame to use a more general dynamic resolution algorithm, with upsampling, partly so we could take advantage of PSSR. PSSR works very well for us with only a few tweaks, including running conservative rasterization for small particles. By comparison, our standard upsampling algorithm requires significantly more hinting and authoring help to achieve good results. Here’s a side-by-side look. If you zoom in very close (16x before gif compression), you can see that PSSR does a better job reconstructing fine details on architecture and foliage. It is also more stable under motion.

** Mega Drive Color Transparency - Part 3 ** Blast Processing on the 68k kicks into high gear in this vid processing 5120 pixels per frame via brute force to create something eeerily cool. Improvements since part 2: - Added masking to remove the transparent pixels outside the ghost (Layer A), - Added 2 more transparent shades , Red & Blue transparent shades for mouth and back shading. - Added an outline layer - solid black and white for solid details such as eyes and mouth outline. - Seperated the Shadow & Highlight ghost , we have a really cool effect now with dual layer transparency occuring !!! - one ghost on top of another ghost both see through !!! We still have cpu left for more logic within 60 FPS so a boss scene with this technique will definately be on the cards in Lufthoheit, as with all these tech demos we'll use the tech in an actual game also !! Can't stop thinking about the art style Desimulate created so I tried to create it in Three.js to see if I could achieve a similar look and feel. I think I got pretty close with some careful pixel art billboarding and lighting. But there's some limitations to getting this particular perspective right so it would only work in environments where you limit where the player can walk to. Vibe coded on Grok 4, Claude Sonnet using Cursor.
