Contrary to several claims circulating on social media suggesting that the #CockroachJanataParty (CJP) protest has ended or that the protest site has been completely dismantled, the protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar is very much ongoing. After the clashes during the proposed march to Parliament, protesters remained on the roads outside Jantar Mantar until around 3.30 a.m. before returning to the protest site. According to organisers, they rebuilt the stage after it was demolished during the police action and resumed the sit-in. Hundreds of protesters continue to remain at Jantar Mantar, while more supporters have been arriving at the venue through the day. Volunteers have also resumed organising the protest site as the demonstration continues. The developments come a day after the attempted Parliament march, which saw clashes between protesters and Delhi Police. 🚨 (SITREP): Minneapolis School Shooting • A Trans Male who now identifies as a woman, named Robin Westman was responsible for a mass shooting that occurred at Annunciation Catholic School in south Minneapolis, Minnesota, • Two children, aged 8 and 10, were killed while seated in the pews during the Mass. —— 17 individuals were injured, including 14 children (ages 6 to 15) and three adults in their 80s (parishioners). All injured victims are expected to survive, with varying degrees of injury severity. • The shooter was identified as Robin Westman, a 23-year-old from suburban Minneapolis, and a former student at the school, Court records from 2019 indicate Westman, born Robert Paul Westman, legally changed their name to Robin M. Westman in January 2020, with documents stating they identified as female at the time, supported by their mother’s application in Dakota County, Minnesota. —— Westman’s mother previously worked at Annunciation Church as an administrative assistant but retired in August 2021. • Westman released a “manifesto” on YouTube, which included disturbing writings and videos showing guns, ammunition, and messages with “racist, antisemitic content”, and a call to kill President Trump. The content has been removed with FBI assistance and is under review. • Minneapolis Police Department (MPD), FBI, ATF, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and State Patrol responded swiftly, with over 65 units dispatched after the first report at 8:27 a.m. The shooter was contained by 9:30 a.m., and no active threat remains. • The FBI is investigating the incident as an act of domestic terrorism and a hate crime targeting Catholics.
