There were no Sharia-related demands. The funeral prayer was held at the Parliament premises, where hundreds of thousands of people gathered. After the prayer ended, a large crowd broke protocol and attempted to enter the Parliament complex. Thats it.

From revolution to radicalism: Bangladesh mobs storm parliament chanting 'Naara e Takbeer', demanding Sharia – a chilling Taliban 2.0 in the making. Facts: Rising attacks on media, lynching of minorities like Hindus. Democracy dying? When will global leaders wake up? #BangladeshCrisis #SaveBangladeshMinorities #AllEyesOnBangladeshHindus

Thousands marching from a janaza towards Parliament shouting “Naara-e-Takbeer” and demanding Sharia isn’t a protest, it’s an audition tape for Taliban 2.0. When mobs that just torched newsrooms and lynched a Hindu man now surround Jatiya Sangsad in the name of “revolution”, what you are seeing is not democracy in transition but a state sleepwalking towards Islamist hostage rule.

If chanting loud enough worked, Bangladesh would have been a superpower decades ago.

Who said it was an attack? I was there myself — it was just people running, nothing else. Why are you spreading propaganda like this? Please verify the facts before publishing such claims.

Stop spreading your filthy propaganda. India has become a safe haven for fugitive criminals who seek to destabilize this country. They assassinated Osman Hadi to prevent him from revealing the extent of Indian hegemony.

Why is that shocking and Islam there is no radical and moderate. They are just mob pushed by maulanas. They are busy destroying their country, if only minorities survive this.

Osman Hadi worked as a teacher at a private university. He was preparing for the GRE and was planning to go abroad. During the period of fascism, people of Bangladesh felt like suppressed in their own country. Then July came, and Osman Hadi joined the July movement with his pregnant wife. By the end of July, political parties began to calculate their shares, and mass people returned home. But Osman Hadi stayed behind. Leaving his pregnant wife at home, he traveled from city to city and port to port, building the Inqilab Manch later Inqilab Cultural Centre Osman Hadi dreamed of a cultural revolution to awaken the Bengali Muslim cultural identity from Indian hegemony. During this time, Brother Hadi’s beautiful child was born. Even looking at his innocent child, Brother Hadi did not return home. He took upon his shoulders all the burdens of society and all of our responsibilities. He dreamed of building a Bangladesh based on justice and fairness. In this anti-domination march, Brother Hadi raised the very first flag with his own hands. Finally, Brother Hadi left us. How will Bangladesh bear the weight of such a heavy coffin? Brother Hadi, you have left us indebted to you. Your struggle was for us, for our unborn future, for our children. Brother Hadi, perhaps you did not even hold your ten-month-old child in your arms for ten hours. Brother Hadi’s struggle was for all of them -- for those who are countless, like ants on the soil, like fish in the sea, like birds in the sky; for the timid and the brave, for the illiterate and the educated, for those as innocent as children, for those who destroy, and for those who create.
