Shocking comments! 🇺🇸US strategists are being shockingly honest about their thoughts on Belt & Road Initiative! Daniel Runde: I hate it! Because #BRI is a great idea!!! It inspires folks in the Global South, but it's not OUR idea!!! Bitter and sour, wow.

The guy speaking is Daniel Runde, Senior Vice President of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He said this at The House Select Committee on CCP hearing on May 16.

I’m convinced that american resentment of China is half racism and half sheer jealousy.

Seems like so.

White Supremacists are still stuck in time.

The West has ZERO intentions to help the Global South to develop and I remember they have proposed a similar project to counter BRI but we all know it is just an IDEA only. Just hogwash !

You mean their "Build Back Better World" project?" Lol

It's not just that the US didn't think of it. Even if they had come up with a similar idea, they would have merely fought about it, and it would be shot down, because all they can ever agree on here is war and exploitation.

Agree.

China is The Future, Emerging Markets are The Present, West is The Past. Many Western peoples already accept the emerging global context. Many are moving to Asia in fact, like Ben Norton. It's the Elite of the West that's trapped inside their created frogs' well.

One of the many problems with the US approach to developing countries, is that US leaders begin with an arrogant stance of wanting to micro-manage the internal political and economic activities of these countries. China uses a policy of non-interference. Developing countries want bridges, schools, and roads, not lectures.
