The Union Environment Ministry in co-operation with Health Ministry has amended environmental regulations for dumping used imported medical devices in India. Paid industry lobbying is being actively done through middlemen.

Asia has been the dumping zone of the west for years.

Nothing shocking here, completely known and in public domain. There are huge businesses with no taxes making truck loads of money with politicians in their pockets. Amount of pet bottle plastic coming to India is humongous & we get it from across the world indiscriminately.
