I keep hearing the same story from Blake Neff, Andrew Kolvet, and Jack Posobiec about the "bombshell" video shown on the final day of the Tyler Robinson preliminary hearing. So I pulled the video apart frame by frame. My conclusion: the public narrative about what this video supposedly shows doesn't match what I see. ❌ It's not a magically enhanced 4K video. ❌ You cannot clearly see a rifle. ❌ You do not see a shot fired. ❌ You do not see a muzzle flash. ❌ You do not see recoil. ❌ There is no audio. What you do see is a zoomed-in version of an already low-quality surveillance video. Another day, another odd and old-school technical issue in #Nioh3. This game doesn’t just expect the frame rate to hit its FPS cap to work properly, it also wants the FPS to line up with the display refresh rate. Using the 60 fps cap at 120Hz (or higher) can result in lots of frame-time spikes and microstuttering. the only way to avoid this is to switch the refresh rate to 60 Hz, which gives a much smoother frame time graph. Frame Generation on top of a 60 FPS base at 120 Hz works flawlessly without any frame time issues.
