Did you know‼️⁉️Drake's "Pop Style" (2016 single promoting Views)‼️Original single version featured The Throne (Jay-Z & Kanye West)⁉️Drake only wanted Kanye at first‼️ but Kanye sent it back with Jay-Z casually adding two lines⁉️"They still out to get me, they don't get it I cannot be got, and that's a given‼️Kanye was excited about the "The Throne" moment‼️For the Views album version‼️ Drake removed both features and added his own new verse‼️ He replaced Jay-Z's lines by re-recording nearly identical ones himself (with a small tweak):"They still out to get me, I don't get it I can not be got, and that's a given."‼️Drake explained that Jay “didn’t really do a verse,” fans would hate the brevity, and it “didn’t play out how I would have wanted it to as far as business goes,” ‼️so he went solo‼️But that's not really the real reason‼️ fans did not realise why Jay-Z refused to clear/be on the album version‼️until Kanye’s later Saint Pablo Tour rant‼️where he revealed that Jay pulled back out of respect for Meek Mill‼️who was in a heated public beef with Drake at the time‼️Meek had Roc Nation ties/management links, and Jay didn’t want to appear to side with Drake‼️But was that really the full details‼️⁉️Nope‼️ The bigger tensions and reason was that Drake had snubbed Jay-Z’s Tidal streaming service‼️where he was reportedly offered a co-owner/partner role‼️and instead took a massive Apple Music deal in 2015‼️which Jay viewed as disloyal‼️Kanye even tried mediating the Drake-Meek beef to make the collab happen, but it fell apart over “Tidal… political shit… percentages on songs.”‼️Therefore Jay (or his camp) refused full clearance for the album‼️, forcing Drake to scrap the features entirely‼️This is to tell you that the tension between them has been a long time coming‼️💯

Jhené Aiko’s dating history shows a clear pattern of connecting with creative men in music (especially R&B/hip-hop circles)‼️, often starting from collaborations or industry proximity, with a preference for artistic, West Coast-leaning energy‼️. Linking up with Larry June fits that pattern closely and isn’t particularly surprising‼️💯. Key relationships timeline‼️ - O’Ryan (O’Ryan Browner/Grandberry, ~2005–2008)‼️: Her first significant relationship‼️. He’s an R&B singer and Omarion’s younger brother‼️. They share daughter Namiko Love (born November 2008). This was an early industry connection through music circles‼️. - Rumored links‼️: Bow Wow around 2010 (unconfirmed)‼️ and Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) around 2013‼️ after the “Bed Peace” collaboration and video (also unconfirmed; they were linked due to creative chemistry and friendship)‼️. - Dot da Genius (Oladipo Omishore, ~2014–2016): Music producer (notable for work with artists like Kid Cudi)‼️. They dated, then eloped/married in Las Vegas in March 2016‼️. She filed for divorce later that year citing irreconcilable differences; it was finalized around 2017‼️. Short, impulsive marriage that overlapped with growing closeness to Big Sean‼️. - Big Sean (~2016–2025): The longest and most public relationship‼️. They met in 2012 as collaborators/friends at No I.D.’s studio (worked on tracks like “Beware” and “I’m Gonna Be”), stayed close through her other relationships, and went public around the time of their joint "Twenty88" project in 2016‼️. On-and-off at points (including a 2019 split)‼️, they had son Noah Hasani in November 2022‼️. Reports indicate a split in late 2025 after roughly a decade, with sources pointing to differences around marriage/commitment (she wanted more formal commitment; he did not)‼️. They appear to remain amicable co-parents‼️. - Larry June (rumors intensifying 2026): Bay Area rapper (real name Leonard Hendricks)‼️. Speculative soft-launch signals included Instagram interactions (e.g., necklace with his signature orange-slice charm alongside her kids’ names)‼️, her presence at his shows, and matching stories‼️. The August 2026 “California Dream” collaboration and music video (from his "Who Coppin" project) showed them very cozy‼️cuddling, holding hands, intimate scenes‼️which many viewed as a near-hard launch‼️. Neither has fully confirmed it publicly as of mid-August 2026, but the chemistry and timing post-Big Sean make the romance widely accepted by fans‼️. Why Larry June tracks with her history⁉️ Jhené consistently dates (or gets heavily linked to) men who operate in music as creators‼️singers, producers, rappers‼️rather than outsiders‼️. Friendships or professional chemistry often come first (classic example: years of friendship and collabs with Big Sean before romance; creative sparks with Gambino and others)‼️. She has a documented comfort with industry overlaps and moving into new connections that feel creatively aligned after periods of change‼️. Larry June’s vibe maps well onto that‼️. He’s known for laid-back, melodic, lifestyle-oriented West Coast/Bay Area rap: smooth flows, themes of organic living, health, luxury without the hard flex, California leisure, oranges as a signature motif, and a chill, self-assured, motivational-yet-relaxed energy‼️. This complements Jhené’s ethereal, introspective, spiritual, California-rooted R&B aesthetic far more than a high-drama or mismatched match would‼️. Their collab feels continuous with how she’s historically mixed personal and artistic chemistry‼️. In short, after a long public relationship with one prominent rapper (Big Sean) that began in collaboration and friendship, shifting toward another independent, lifestyle-oriented California rapper via music and visible chemistry is consistent with her track record of creative-industry partnerships‼️. The timing (post-split soft-to-hard signaling) and aesthetic fit make it feel more like a natural next chapter than a curveball‼️.

I'm of the opinion that Kendrick didn't really think through the aftereffects of this beef‼️. To him it was a straight-up slam dunk‼️he had the whole industry in his corner, so what could possibly go wrong⁉️ But of course, the one thing that shouldn't have gone sideways totally did‼️. His claims were shaky as hell; that whole “secret daughter” angle⁉️ Super questionable‼️. It wasn’t a clean one-on-one either‼️it was a full-on pile-on, with like twenty other artists jumping in alongside him and the industry machine‼️. And Drake⁉️ He didn’t just die in that ring. Nah, he came back evolved into a whole new beast we’ve never seen before‼️. This has gotta be the shortest victory lap any rap-beef winner has ever taken‼️. Instead of riding off into the sunset with the trophy, it just threw him straight under the biggest magnifying glass in the game‼️💯. Now the public’s got their eyes glued on him, and the scrutiny is relentless‼️. Him and his fans⁉️ They ain’t built for that kind of heat, apparently‼️. What they don’t understand is that at this level, criticism isn’t some surprise attack‼️it’s just part of the package that comes with the crown‼️. He’s gotta deliver every time now‼️. His next album is gonna be the real litmus test‼️ will he keep this shiny new spotlight shining, or will it end up dimming his brand for the long haul⁉️ We’ll see how it plays out‼️💯

Game being hurt about that Super Bowl still makes sense if you sit with how the night was built‼️. Dr. Dre puts on the biggest hip-hop halftime in Super Bowl history: Snoop, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick, and then 50 Cent swinging in upside down for “In Da Club.” It was sold as an L.A. homecoming‼️. The city was on the field‼️. Compton was on the field‼️. Aftermath’s whole lineage was on the field‼️. Except one of Dre’s actual Compton products wasn’t⁉️. Game said it out loud a few months later on *I Am Athlete*‼️. He was hurt‼️. Not “the culture won” Instagram caption he posted right after the show‼️. Hurt‼️. He pointed at the obvious: Eminem is not from L.A. 50 is not from L.A. If it had been a Detroit Super Bowl or a New York Super Bowl, L.A. niggas would not have been invited just because they were legends‼️. The Rams were playing‼️. The stadium was in Inglewood‼️. Dre produced it‼️. And the call never came‼️. He even said YG should have been there too‼️. He called himself not a “safe” artist‼️. That part tracks with how Game has always moved‼️. The 50 Cent piece is the part that stings extra‼️. Eminem made sure 50 was on that stage‼️. That’s not rumor — 50 and people around the camp have said it for years‼️. Em wasn’t going to let his guy get left off Dre’s night‼️. Fair‼️. Loyalty‼️. Same energy Game has always claimed he gives people‼️. The difference is nobody in that circle fought to put Game on the bill‼️. Twelve minutes, Snoop later said‼️. Politics, Game said. Either way, the Compton artist who actually came up under Dre on *The Documentary* watched two outsiders and the younger Compton guy who inherited the “voice of the city” slot get the moment‼️. That’s where the Kendrick part lives‼️. It’s not that Game and Kendrick ever had a public war in 2022‼️. It’s that Kendrick was the other Compton name Dre and the NFL were comfortable putting next to Dre and Snoop‼️. Game has said he put Kendrick on early mixtapes, took him on tour, showed love when it was still a come-up‼️. Then years later he can’t get him on the phone, but he can get Drake‼️. That’s the current documentary-era complaint‼️. The Super Bowl snub sits underneath it like old scar tissue‼️. Same city, same Dre orbit, same “who gets to represent L.A. on the biggest stage” question — and Game wasn’t the answer they picked‼️. He has spent 2026 saying he doesn’t have a problem with the Boogeyman and the Boogeyman doesn’t have a problem with him‼️. He also put Drake on *The Documentary III*, rapped about not having to pick sides, and still couldn’t resist the “they say I’m beefing with Kendrick, how the fuck do that sound⁉️” line. That’s Game‼️. He will deny the beef while listing every reason the distance exists‼️. Resentment doesn’t always come out as a diss record the next week‼️. Sometimes it sits for four years until the next album cycle, the next Drake feature, and the next time somebody asks why the original Compton Aftermath artist wasn’t standing on that white house set while Em made sure 50 got his “In Da Club” moment‼️. Game watched it happen in his city‼️. He said he was hurt‼️. The rest is just whether he ever stopped being hurt‼️. The future will tell‼️

Ray Daniels has told this story on multiple podcasts because it’s one of the cleanest examples of how “pop splits” versus “urban splits” actually change the check‼️. The song is Nicki Minaj’s “Only” from *The Pinkprint* (2014) — the one with Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown on the hook‼️. Official writers are Nicki, Drake, Wayne, Dr. Luke, Cirkut, JMIKE, Theron Thomas, and Timothy Thomas (the R. City brothers)‼️. Ray Daniels manages/works with the Thomas brothers‼️. His team wrote the hook and Chris Brown’s sung part‼️. Nicki wrote her verse; Drake and Wayne wrote theirs. Chris Brown was paid as a featured artist and, according to Ray, did not take a writer’s share the same way the others did‼️. They did the record with Dr. Luke. Luke’s rule in the room was simple: there are seven writers on this song, so we split the publishing seven ways‼️. Everybody walks with roughly 13–14 percent‼️. Because Ray had *two* writers on the record (Theron and Timothy), his side left with about 26–27 percent‼️. He contrasts that with what usually happens on the urban/hip-hop side. The producer often takes 50 percent off the top‼️. Then the big features come in with their standard deal: a flat fee *plus* a set publishing percentage (Ray has used examples like 17.5 percent) no matter how many other people are on the record‼️. After Nicki, Drake, Wayne, and Chris Brown’s teams all take their cuts, the original writers are left fighting over the scraps — sometimes 5–10 percent total‼️. Ray has said that if they had done “Only” with a typical urban producer instead of Luke, he probably would have walked with something closer to 5–10 percent after the fight‼️. That’s the point he keeps making: same song, same contribution, completely different math depending on whose room you’re in and whose rules you play by‼️. The pop-style equal split is why he still talks about owning a real piece of a Nicki/Drake/Wayne/Chris Brown record more than a decade later‼️💯.

How did it go wrong between Pusha T and Kanye West ⁉️ Are you asking that as well⁉️ I gat you‼️💯 Pusha T and Kanye/Ye had a long creative run: features on "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" (“Runaway,” “So Appalled”), Cruel Summer (“Mercy,” “New God Flow”), full production on Daytona (2018), and half of It’s Almost Dry (2022)‼️. Pusha was G.O.O.D. Music president for years‼️. Cracks started during the 2021 "Donda" sessions in Atlanta‼️. Pusha felt the energy shift—sidebar talks when he left the room, competing agendas, and isolation tied to the Drake fallout (his “Story of Adidon” diss had residual impact on Ye)‼️. Ye later said the situation caused him mental harm‼️. The public break hit in late 2022 after Ye’s antisemitic remarks‼️. Pusha called it “very disappointing,” said there’s “no room for bigotry or hate speech” as a Black man in America, left G.O.O.D. Music after ~12 years, and confirmed they stopped speaking‼️. Ye expected more public support given the platform he’d given others‼️. In 2025 interviews (GQ, Apple Music/Ebro, The Guardian) promoting Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out, Pusha went harder‼️: He said They only clicked on music‼️: “Outside of music, we’re nothing… his principles, his morals, his mindset. We don’t see eye to eye. Hardly ever. And we never have.”‼️ - Ye “champions and stands next to anybody and everybody who don’t fuck with me.”‼️ - “He knows I don’t think he’s a man… He’s showed me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people.”‼️ - He called Ye calculated and detrimental, denied leaking texts, and said he won’t risk “wishy-washiness or the lack of loyalty.” Any future collab is “definitely in the past.”‼️ Ye has said he misses the friendship and they’ve spoken privately a few times‼️. Pusha acknowledged Ye returned the Def Jam-era G.O.O.D. profits, calling that the best thing he did‼️. Is this switching up when it’s no longer beneficial⁉️ Partially, in the industry sense, but not purely one-sided‼️. Pusha frames it as principle and character: he won’t cosign hate speech, prioritizes real loyalty, and lost respect after seeing what he views as weakness and side-taking‼️. Distancing himself when Ye became a liability was also self-preservation‼️. Ye sees it as people failing to reciprocate the support he gave when he needed it‼️. Some old G.O.O.D. voices (like Consequence) accuse Pusha of using Ye then walking for clout‼️. Both dynamics are present‼️. The music holds up; the personal relationship does not‼️. Which makes me ask what the foundation of the loyalty is⁉️
