When I went to school in the 70’s everything was made fresh we had dietician in our cafeteria bring it back instead paying the government 60 million or billion to feed these kids frozen foods or prepared foods

Having real chefs make school lunches will create jobs. Js

You visit Japan..you see very few fat and obese people…because they eat real food that they cook in their homes…vs here in the U.S…we eat prepackaged food that manufacturers make and we have no idea whats in it!

There's a documentary on schools in Japan. They grow this food on site. The kids are involved in everything. Farming it, cleaning it, and they learn to cook it with supervision, of course. They even help wash the dishes afterward. We should definitely be doing this as well.

My son said they played frisbee after lunch with the Domino’s healthy pizza they delivered once a week to their school. Implemented by Michelle Obama.
