SHOOTING ON 2K WAS BETTER WHEN IT DIDN'T HAVE SO MANY VARIABLES... i been doing this shit for years but here is my explanation.

It was perfect on 24 where you would just tweak speed and blending. the 4 different cues were all set at a different point. Once you could blend the cue it got wonky

And the cues are not even accurate to the description

The main thing 2k26 missed, was a contest system that made sense. If all they did was make defensive attributes work as intended, they would have had minimal complaints & 27 wouldve just had to be a copy & paste with new badges, animations, aesthetics, etc.

I’ve been saying this for years… but the (comp) community wanted harder shooting. shooting should have stayed the same after 2K19-22. But players had egos, wanted to force 2K to make shooting complicated; because they thought it would help with skill.. which broke shooting.

All the variables are needed cuz of the cheaters. Speed ups and slow downs happened last year too, green window was just so big that yall didn’t feel it.
