Claude + Shopify is f*cking cracked 🤯 Shopify just dropped an official connector that lets you manage your entire store from inside Claude. One prompt → Claude adds products, checks inventory, creates discount codes, pulls sales reports, and finds your top customers. All from a single chat. All inside Claude. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who are still bouncing between five browser tabs every time they need to answer one basic question about their store. The new Shopify connector for Claude fixes the entire workflow: → Install the official Shopify connector in Claude Desktop in 30 seconds → Authenticate to your store via OAuth → Claude reads your full catalog, customers, orders, and analytics on demand → Adds new products, creates discount codes, and bulk-updates inventory from prompts → Runs ShopifyQL analytics queries that return live charts and dashboards → Surfaces patterns across customer behavior — top sellers, bundle opportunities, restock urgency No Shopify admin tab-switching. No exporting CSVs to ask one question. No "let me check Shopify and get back to you." What you get: → Claude connected directly to your live Shopify store → Daily store ops running through one chat — products, customers, inventory, discounts, analytics → Real-time analytics that answer questions Shopify's own dashboards can't → Pattern recognition across your orders that surfaces bundle ideas and retention opportunities → An official connector built by Shopify with 25 tools and ongoing updates I put together a full playbook with the connector setup, every prompt I tested, the 25 tools it exposes, and a Loom walkthrough video showing you how to set it up. Biggest announcement in company history. Here it goes: Platter+ is now live on the Shopify App Store and free to start. Platter+ lets you optimize your checkout and post-purchase without needing a designer or developer. It takes minutes to set up and start driving additional revenue: → Download the app directly to your Shopify admin → Select and configure pre-built checkout and post-purchase extensions → Turn them on and see the conversion rate and AOV increase The checkout and post-purchase experiences are often overlooked, but they’re the simplest and quickest way to drive more dollars from existing shoppers. We’ve worked with hundreds of brands to address high checkout abandonment rates, struggling conversion rates, and low AOV. All of that has been built directly into this product. You spoke, and we listened. Brands are tired of usage-based pricing. It’s unpredictable and feels like a tax on success. That’s why we chose a flat fee pricing model. It’s simple: you pay the same amount, whether you generate $1,000, $100,000, or $1,000,000. Over 150 of our customers have been using the app for months to drive incremental sales. Most merchants see a sales lift minutes after going live. If you’ve read this far, we want to make it easier for you. We built the most extensive playbook on checkout optimization, period. 100+ pages, 15 partners, Shopify-endorsed. We’ll give it to you for free. Here’s how to get it: → You MUST connect with me on LinkedIn (I can’t send it otherwise) → Like this same post on LinkedIn and comment “Checkout” I’ll DM it to you. To sweeten the deal, our team will build you an optimized checkout experience in a 15-minute meeting. If you’re interested, message me, and I’ll ensure you get taken care of.

Claude Code + Shopify AI is f*cking cracked 🤯 Shopify just dropped an official AI Toolkit that connects Claude Code directly to your store. One prompt → Claude reads your products, rewrites your descriptions for AI shopping, and pushes the updates live. All from the terminal. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands on Shopify who are still manually editing product pages, writing descriptions in Google Docs, and copy-pasting into the Shopify admin one product at a time. Claude Code + the Shopify AI Toolkit fixes the entire workflow: → Install the official Shopify plugin in Claude Code → Authenticate to your store → Claude reads your entire product catalog → Rewrites every description to be optimized for AI shopping → Pushes the updates directly to your store automatically → Validates every API call against Shopify's official docs before executing No Shopify admin tab-switching. No copy-pasting from a Google Doc. No hiring a copywriter to rewrite 50 product pages. This guy took a brand‑new app to #1 overall in the App Store and 1,000,000 downloads in under 3 days. For the FIRST TIME, he breaks down exactly how he did it, and we’re posting the full, RAW conversation right here on X To be clear, this is his first and only podcast on this playbook... And a little more context: this wasn’t luck. Jibran has taken 4 different apps to #1 in the App Store, including one that did $1.5M in 3 days and outranked ChatGPT He did it with a handful of creators, zero paid ads, and a product philosophy that blew my mind Here’s the core of what he taught me: > Your product and your marketing are not two separate things; they're the same thing. > What goes viral on TikTok is product validation. > What you learn from a hit video should change your UI, your App Store screenshots, your icon He ran that loop obsessively.. For his 2025 Wrapped app, he spent hundreds of hours in Figma asking one question: > “How does this look on TikTok?” Then he tracked: 1. What users screenshotted 2. What they shared to Snapchat 3. What slide they dropped off on The result was a #1 overall app in the App Store. Above EVERYTHING. Now he’s building because he realized he was spending hours every day doom‑scrolling TikTok looking for hooks and formats that worked So he built an AI to do it for him: > You tell it your app. > It tells you what to post, what’s trending in your niche, and what’s wrong with your existing videos. We go deep on all of it in this conversation. If you run a consumer app, this is the most useful 49 minutes you’ll spend this week

Tobi Lutke explains what the VCs who passed on Shopify got wrong Tobi recounts pitching Shopify to VCs on Sand Hill Road a few years after founding Shopify. Investors passed because they thought the addressable market was too small. At the time, there were about 40,000-50,000 online stores, and even if Shopify captured 50% of the market, that still wouldn’t be a venture-scale business. When Tobi ran into the VC partner a few years ago, the partner asked Tobi what he missed (Shopify is valued at almost $100 billion today). Tobi explained: “You were actually correct, but what you didn’t realize was that Shopify was the solution to the very problem you identified. The reason there was only 40,000 online stores was because it was hard, expensive, and everyone who tried ran into all these brick walls of complexity, which Shopify, one after another, smoothed over and made simple to do.” Tobi believes this is a common mistake: “What a lot of free-market thinkers don’t understand is that between the demand and eventual supply lies friction. And I actually think that friction is probably the most potent force for shaping the planet that people just generally do not acknowledge… That was my theory when I turned my snowboard store into Shopify: there was a lot more people like me except there was too much friction which we needed to solve. And Shopify has proven out that every time we make the process simpler, there’s more consumption. At this point, we have a million merchants on Shopify, which is a mind-blowing number. So friction is a major component, and it’s something that software is uniquely good at reducing.” Video Source: Dan Martell
