I'm all for freedom of assembly... But people sitting in the middle of the road should expect to get ran over.

Nothing says stupid quite like protesting against something, by interfering with and irritating people who have zero to do with what you're mad about!

If the law was changed to allow anyone deliberately obstructing a vehicle to be run over, two things would happen. No one would be run over and no vehicles would be obstructed. Its that simple. Problem is our politicians are even more simple.

I have no objection to road rash for thugs/terrorists. I also have no objection to speed bumps. They have a right to speak out. They have no right to compel others to listen or to inconvenience decent people. And, no, I don't care what their "cause" might be.

Being a passive aggressive punk should always turn out bad. They do not do this in Florida.

What I don't understand is why aren't the police arrested the people blocking traffic. If nothing else, they're causing a safety hazard by causing a traffic jam and preventing fire, ambulance and police from getting to their destination.
