Short tutorial on how I make stylized hair in blender WITHOUT using curves💇 I'm not a big fan of using curves for hair as it doesn't give me enough fine control, so I polymodel all my hair now! Useful addons I use for hair modeling in thread below 🔻

Loop tools is found in Blender as a default addon, to enable it: 1. Go to Preferences then the Add-ons tab. 2. Click Mesh then Loop Tools to enable the addon Edge Flow:

Thank you for this‼️ I always struggle to get the curves exactly how I want so this helps a lot 🥺🌿

I've seen people start off with curves and then convert that to mesh for editing and merging parts. Do you find that a bit more cumbersome than full polymodeling? Especially if you are wanting a more continuous mesh for certain style/outline/texturing purposes

As with all things, it really depends on what you are more comfortable with, if you find that workflow faster and more efficient by all means go for it!
