The summer of 1977. The death of Elvis Presley, the blackout in New York City, the looting, the Son of Sam in Brooklyn, NY, & the miserable heatwave. It was the worst summer of my friggin' life. I was 14 or 15 years old.

Nothing more painful for a father, than the loss of his son in death, before he himself passes. The pain in his eyes says it all... 🙏🕊️🕯️
