How does it feel to live my dream?

How was it? Just seeing it being shot is reminding me how cool the intervention is

Accurate to a T, easiest long range shots I've ever done. Kicks about the same as a shotgun with magnum buck maybe Some ergo problems mainly in the stock area, I'm gonna see where I can improve it there like with rubber/foam padding or other stuff

I’m doing some research for my purchase, should I go with legit M200 or go for THOR M408?

Ngl I don't have much info on Thor, supposedly it has worked fine for most. I'd say just depends on price, and if Thor customer support is good The M200 is more accurate to most of her art, but its a slightly older gen than the current. Mine is an even older gen that Thor copied

@MakoMakt Supposedly, DANGERDROP did mention that the War Correspondent costume featured the THOR M408, not the M200.

@MakoMakt Honest speaking I don’t know where to start. Both THOR and Cheytac offer the model. Is it because two companies separated so they both produce the rifle?

@MakoMakt (Quick history issue from DD's Bluesky thread) Legal issues for the receiver back from when it's still in joint development between Cheytac and EDM Arms. Lawsuit is dropped, but EDM is still allowed to develop their own variant of the .408 rifle (through THOR)

@tube4512 The easiest way to identify a THOR vs a Cheytac, other than the logo, is the handguard (but older Cheytacs like mine will look like the THOR too. Thor copied an older version for the M408) Cheytacs (right) have an external ring with that notch. Thors (left) are just screwed in

Alot of people did, though mostly because they assumed it was a 50bmg and never seen the gun before One RSO recognized it so I let him shoot it since he never got to shoot one before

Do you have the components to reload 408 or are you just stuck buying ammo at like 10 bucks a round? Honestly I don't even know if anyone carries .408 projectiles to reload or if it's even worth the cost to get the dies etc.

Stuck with buying for now, but I'm heavily debating getting a reload kit since I can also use it for my 50 bmg. In terms of projectile, a few companies sell them and Cheytac will always have/sell em as long as they're alive

Yes, in fact the M200 is one of the easier guns to own in any state as it is a bolt action. It depends on state laws of course but the only nationwide restriction we have is no fully automatic guns unless they were made and registered before 1986
