‘She basically telling him, nigga come back in 2 weeks and I got you ! But he looking at the white man for answers’- DK Kentt ‘My people perish because of lack of knowledge.’-weweo ‘This is how crippling illiteracy is young men. Not being able to comprehend what's being said to you by professionals & it's not complicated. This is also the power of having different groups of people in legal positions to help us all avoid the pitfalls and traps. Great job judge’-cloudtechbigunk ‘His Cognitive & Comprehensive skills are not aligned with his age! Add fear into the mixture and you have a recipe for disaster pray for him’-wrightwaycatering ‘His "lawyer" says "who knows under this administration there might not be truck drivers anymore." Time to look for a real lawyer.-carlamarie946 ‘His lawyer is railroading him and this happens more often than not. He was taught to trust the system (his lawyer) and cannot conceive that this white figure of authority is misleading him. It's clear his lawyer has another agenda. He's not understanding the judge because he believes the judge has an adversarial role based on his lack of knowledge, television and the fact that she represents the court. People in court are nervous, intimidated and yes there is a lack of understanding/ignorance. Law and legalese are not taught in school nor or laws written so that the average person can understand them. This is by design so that ppl are forced to hire and depend on lawyers to interpret and defend them. They like to call it job security. If he loses his job he may very likely end up back in court needing a lawyer once again. If he gets a felony that's one less person competing for a job with the lawyers kid or "community". Let this sink all the way in!’-blackbonnie928

Ok, initially I was about to go off on this maiden-less, childless dork, but I stuck around & heard him out. I still do have some criticisms for him though He’s got a similar point to what I discuss quite often. The feminization of men, the lack of mean being leaders of their spouse, the inability to stand up not only for themselves, but for their family The idea of “happy life, happy wife” that stupid trope that conveys the idea it’s always best for the husband to constantly submit to the wife, instead of it being the other way around. The competence of fathers has drastically plummeted with their reliance on consumerism. Always “buy new” instead of learning about the product and how to maintain or repair it. I do blame men for feminism, for allowing it to take place. For allowing the courts to provide incentives for a mother to divorce her husband. All of that makes sense to me. But the main difference between somebody like me and somebody like Fuentes is that I embody the values I wish to see in this world I got married, have kids, am the leader of my spouse, work diligently to provide for them, partake of this world and in these past couple years, have taken steps to become more involved politically It seems to me, Fuentes sits in his room reading about the world and criticizing it from his safe space of non participation. No wife, no kids, just mean words said about the world he hardly lives in. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have calluses on his hands nor does he know a legitimate hard days work in helping maintain something in our society. Be it infrastructure, transport, or security. He’s right to criticize the feminization of men, but when you’re 140lbs with no calluses, no notable skills, no wife, no kids, I’d say you’re embodying the criticisms you’re espousing. Overall, decent take on the fall of masculine men, but a huge L on being anything but one of those feminized men in your daily life. 🤷‍♂️

Martin Scorsese explains why the "The Copacabana" Scene in 'Goodfellas' (1990) had to be filmed as one continuous shot: "There was a practical problem [while filming the scene]: we simply couldn’t get permission to go in the short way, so we had to go round the back. But I like doing that kind of thing. I’m torn between admiring things done in one shot, like Max Ophüls and Renoir or Mizoguchi on the one hand, and the cutting of Eisenstein or Hitchcock on the other, which I probably love even more. But here there was a reason to do it all in one shot. Henry’s whole life is ahead of him. He’s the young American ready to take over the world and he’s met a girl he likes. Because he works with these guys and he’s smart and something of an outsider so he can make a lot of money for them, he gets his reward. His reward is not having to wait in line at the bakery or worry about getting a parking ticket- and getting into the Copa that way, having the table fly over the heads of the other patrons and being seated right in front of the singer, who would have been Frank Sinatra or Bobby Darren at that time. So it had to be done in one sweeping shot, because it’s his seduction of her and it’s also the lifestyle seducing him. We get an insider’s look into the actual workings of a family involved in organized crime, even a small family like Henry’s family. It’s a rare and interesting opportunity to show how a woman, who’s not from that group — she’s Jewish and from another area- is attracted and stays. She gets sucked into Henry’s world because it’s so insular and hermetically sealed that they only deal with each other. I was fascinated by the moment when Karen says, ‘Hide that cross’, before he meets her parents; and the next thing you know is they’re getting married in a Jewish ceremony and he’s wearing a Star of David and a cross. The point is, it doesn’t make any difference to him. I guess it’s ‘materialism versus a spiritual life’ once again, which interests me." ('Scorsese on Scorsese', Edited by David Thompson & Ian Christie, 1989)

BACK STORY: A teacher friend told me this story about teaching kids words with different suffix examples and when he asked his students for words ending in “an”, a grade one student said “lesbian”. No big deal but the writers and I thought it would be funny to run with that a bit. So we wrote the cold open as you see in the photos of the script. On the day of filming, two of the writers, Shebli Zarghami and @Jessie_Gabe came to me and suggested we add “words that end in “on”-prostitution”. So I ran with that and the kids and I improvised what you see in the scene. At that point, we were done with the scene and very happy about it. In my opinion, what Jessie and Sheb suggested next is what made the scene go viral BUT, we were too late because they thought of it AFTER, we had already shot (videoed) the kids. I spoke with Keith our director and suggested it was worth grabbing a wild line (no camera) of adding one more word suffix and joke that Jessie and Sheb thought of: “Words that end in “re”- crack whore”. It would be take too much time to turn all the cameras around to shoot Faith saying two works (crack whore) but I thought the line was so funny, that it was worth grabbing it. So we did and the that’s why you don’t see Faith saying the line but for me, it took the scene to another level. On this show, we always added lines on the day from anyone who had them, especially the writers. We wrote great scripts but sometimes we found these little moments on the day of filming that added to the scene. We never stopped looking for the funny and in this case the instincts (and comedy) of Jessie and Sheb took this scene to another level!! #MrD

This is the moment that Leader of the Islamic Republic, Khamenei.ir , issued orders that put a price on my life through the head of the Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Salami, and other high-ranking IRGC commanders you see in this video. All these men are gone now, removed from the battlefield and history. And five hitmen hired by Iran’s regime are behind bars here in America not in Tehran, not in Qom, but in U.S. custody because they plotted violence on American soil. How would you feel if you woke up one day and heard that the men who ordered the massacre of your beloved people, the men responsible for killing your friends, your neighbors, your country’s daughters and sons, were gone? Some in the West is it still confused but those who have suffered under a terrorist regime, whether in Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, or any dictatorship, know this feeling: a tornado of grief and rage mixes in your veins until your body trembles with it. It isn’t philosophy. It isn’t politics. It is about survival. It is about death and life. I wish I could publish every single order he signed, every command that turned his soldiers into executioners and innocent people into targets. Do you understand what it means when a regime calls for your death? When every step outside your home could be the last? We don’t have the luxury of debating human rights or ideology when every dawn could be your last. We fight to live, to breathe, to raise a family, to have a normal life without fear. In the United States or Europe, if you don’t like your president, you have another option, it’s called an election, and you vote. We didn’t have that choice. I wish I could bring every Iranian woman and men who lost just one eye, every survivor, on every campus, in every capital to every American and European university. Let them stare in the faces of the privileged and say: this is what terror looks like. Again; This is not politics. This is life and death. This is about surviving. Stand with those who survived. If not now, then when?

I have a story to tell you about how one person altered the course of history without even knowing it. Stay with me for a minute. In 1977, when Menachem Begin was elected Prime Minister of Israel, John Hagee was a young man in Texas. His pastor said, “We’ve got five tickets to go to Israel. Who wants to go?” He raised his hand and he went to Israel. He was there for a week, had an amazing time. The last day, they go to the Kotel, and he’s praying at the Kotel, and something told him to turn to the right, and there was a very elderly gentleman, Jewish, with a kippah, in a wheelchair, eyes closed, crying and praying fervently. And he said that something told him to speak to this man. Now, the man spoke halting English. Hagee spoke no Hebrew. Somehow they spoke for 5-10 minutes. I said, “Pastor, what did you talk about?” He said, “I have no idea. But based on those five or 10 minutes, I knew that I had to change the entire trajectory of my life and devote it entirely to saving and protecting the Jewish state and the Jewish people.” And that's what he has done every single day since. This elderly man, of course, would never know the impact that his decision to go to the Kotel that day would have on the future trajectory of the Jewish people or the Jewish state. But that man he was speaking to—Pastor John Hagee—now sits in the Oval Office and meets one-on-one about Israel with the President of the United States. Pastor Hagee recently announced that Christians United for Israel has surpassed 10 million members. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s more people than there are in the entire state of Israel—Muslim, Christian, and Jew. That’s almost twice as many Jews as there are in the entire United States. That's more Jews than exist in the entire diaspora in the world outside of Israel. Any person has it within his or her grasp to change the world. You need only believe it and speak up everywhere and anywhere that you can.

Sometimes I sit quietly and think about the heart of Jesus… how it breaks for what breaks us. He sees the mother praying for food she doesn’t have. He sees the child who feels forgotten. He sees the lonely, the sick, the weary — and His heart moves toward them, not away. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 We are living in a world that feels divided, wounded, and tired. But darkness does not have the final word. Love does. And love is not just a feeling — it is a response. “For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.” — Matthew 25:35, 40 Imagine standing before Christ and realizing that every act of kindness, every sacrifice, every quiet gift… was received by Him personally. That is how sacred your generosity is. You may feel like one person. One small offering. One simple step. But in God’s hands, one act of love can echo into eternity. “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18 If your heart feels stirred right now, that is not by accident. That is the Holy Spirit inviting you to be part of something bigger — to help heal what is hurting in this world. Let’s be His hands. Let’s be His compassion. Let’s be the answer to someone’s prayer. If you feel called to give, you can do so here: 👉 And together, let’s try to support 5–10 children or more — or give whatever the Lord places on your heart. No gift is too small when it’s given in love. And if you choose to give, please send proof of your donation. I would be honored to pray for you personally — one on one — lifting up your name, your family, and your intentions before the Lord. No prayer will be rushed. You will be prayed for with care, with gratitude, and with faith. May we never grow tired of doing good. May we love boldly. And may the world see Jesus through us. #thechosen #uJesusIsLord #ChristIsKing #FaithInAction #BeTheLight #HandsAndFeetOfJesus #LoveLikeChrist #PrayerWarrior #KingdomImpact

Gavin Newsom goes off on the Trump Family corruption: Newsom: And I’m not talking about the $100,000 watches. I’m not talking about the guitars that he’s selling that you didn’t even know about, or the Bibles, or the sneakers. I’m not talking about all that. I’m talking about what’s happening substantively with these kids and these investments, and the Pentagon contracts they’re receiving on rare earth minerals and drone companies, and all the stuff that’s happening with the Kushner family, the Witkoff family, the “Board of Peace,” which is about getting a piece of the Middle East. Let’s talk about the UAE and high-value chips, where they’re getting a piece of our national security, where the Biden administration held off. But as long as you can get a deal done with the UAE on the private family businesses, then all of a sudden national security becomes less of an important talking point. Or how about the tariff relief in places like Vietnam for the golf courses and the development deals, and the dozen other countries that he’s doing business in? How about all the corruption as it relates to the self-dealing with his resorts and all of his assets that the Secret Service and taxpayers are subsidizing? Or directing G7 investments? Or the emoluments issues across the spectrum every day? Or just the day trading literally behind the Oval Office desk, or showing up on your calendar at a company that you just invested in because you know that stock’s going to pop because you’re going to promote it the next day? All of this happening—this open sewage system. You talk about draining the swamp. He gave it a presidential suite with gold leaf. And you’re seeing this gross corruption at a scale and scope never before seen in modern American history. This is stuff I don’t even imagine exists at this scale in a year and a half, even in Putin’s Russia or Kim Jong-un’s North Korea.
