Shottr v1.8 with the Backdrop Tool is out!

This is huge! Finally I can do nice looking screenshots of the code in seconds! Other improvements noticeable as well. Thanks, don't stop! Hopefully one day we can see video/GIF recordings 🙂

Nice! I start with shottr then do the backdrop in xnapper because it has the social ratio/size feature, but this is a great start!

Thank you! 🤩 Btw, I’d love if I could copy text from the screenshot - I know there’s a special shortcut for that, but for me, it would be more convenient to have a single ‘capture’ shortcut and then decide what exactly do I want to do with the image.

If you mean in the editor, there is a button in the toolbar, but it only shows up if you select a portion of the screenshot first. If you want to recognize text on the entire screenshot, try Cmd+O in the editor.

A few days ago I was thinking about finally paying for Shottr after having used it a lot in the past few years. This is the thing that made me do it!
