Should Christians wear a cross?
11 条评论

I wear a cross. Not as an idol or something to worship but as a daily reminder of what my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ went through for my sins!

Would you like to join Chiitan in the Avengers?

Eh, i don’t really give it much thought regarding what others do, personally i do not wear one nor do i have one in my home for the reason that i attribute such an action to be tantamount to a graven image, an idol. if we hide His word in our hearts, trinkets are not necessary.

I wouldn't say I'm a devout Christian, I don't read the Bible every day, or many days. But I have an understanding, and I grew up in a family where God and Jesus was very present.. I wear a small chained cross every day. The values I live by today are built from it. I will always wear a cross, it will always remind me of others sacrifice and what/who I need to be in life.

It is not a sin for people that wear a chain with a cross. it could also be a reminder that says take up your cross. I have gifted people with a chain cross ( no figure on it). for me it was more of a conversation piece to talk about Yeshua/Jesus. I do not wear one👑🪔🩸🕊️

The Cross reminds us of Jesus’ sacrifice how he died to cleanse our sins.

Brilliant

I were a small cross and it’s surprising how often someone will strike up conversation ask you to pray for a member of their family etc so when the cross draws people to Jesus I’m ok wearing it.

There is nothing wrong about it. I wear one. It's just a symbol of what He's done, it's just an expression, a showing of one's belief, their faith. As long as one isn't worshiping it, thinking it has power, it's fine.

We wear the cross as a symbol of our faith—just like Jews wear the Star of David. It’s not just a necklace. We wear it for protection, for strength, and as a constant reminder of what we believe in. Sometimes we even buy it in gold—not for vanity, but to show how much value we place in our faith. It’s a way of saying to God, “I’ve invested in You. You matter to me.” The cross represents so much more than people realise. It stands for strength, honour, respect, faith, sacrifice, history, Christianity, democracy, and the core of Western tradition. It’s not just jewellery—it’s identity, it’s legacy, it’s belief.

Amen
