Should Clancy get the death penalty?

She stole every year of life from those 3 kids in a methodical pre planned way. She doesn't need to be cured she needs to be punished. Oh she heard voices telling her to do it, lets assume that's true for sake of argument (I don't believe it), she was still apparently conscious enough to understand them and step by step carry it out, so she is conscious enough to ignore them. If I hear a voice telling me to kill my kids I would sooner go to my car alone and drive into a tree first! Not come up with a way to covertly carry out an attack on them. Doing that to the people who depend on you the most is beyond forgiveness.

She should be sentenced to death and her execution should be public, so a lot of women will understand that they can't kill and then claim they're crazy to get away with it.

As far as I'm concerned she took the life of 3 children with one being an 8 month old infant she should get the death penalty regardless of her state of mind at the time but as long as she's found guilty and is sent away to an insane asylum for life that's fine too.
