No. They should have bought snow tires.

A Tesla wouldn't even turn on on that conditions.

Forget the Tesla joke. What everyone is missing is that this guy is using a brilliant tactic to get his car up the icy hill when it otherwise wouldn't make it. Not pretty, but very effective.

Electric cars are paperweights in the winter.

A Tesla’s battery would’ve frozen and the car wouldn’t have started in the first place

You’re talking cars, and all I’m seeing is a Christmas tree

Or winter tires if you don’t have $60k laying around, and if you happen to have $60k make sure you buy winter tires or you’ll be in the exact same situation as this guy.

Tesla will not even turn ON in this condition and bunch of fault codes! Battery efficiency dropping less than 70% in this condition and nothing work properly. This guy need either a snow tires or tire chain or both!

Batteries in cold weather, not a good thing. You might get 180 miles out of the battery with the heat running. No thanks. Better option is a gas powered all wheel drive or a 4 X4 truck.
