Looking back, the pass was actually perfectly fine and that’s a catch Welker needs to make. I think I blocked it out of my memory.

@SavageSports_ Should he have caught that? Sure. He’s an all pro WR and that’s what we expect from him. That being said Brady could’ve made a much better throw. He rushed for no reason. With an accurate throw Welker walks into that end zone.

1. If he caught it, they would’ve had a first down on the 20 with four minutes left. There’s no guarantee they score a touchdown there. If they get a FG, they would have been up 20-15 and the Giants scored a touchdown anyway after that. 2. On the very next play, Brady had Branch open and threw it a little bit behind him for an incompletion. It would’ve been a first down. I have heard Brady say before that this is one throw in his career he would’ve liked to have had back. He saw the safety coming over him through it behind him a little bit.

@SavageSports_ A closer view shows it was pretty high for welker, not as easy as people make it out to be. Maybe blame is 70/30 welker/brady. I seem to remember a dropped interception by Samuel in one of the giants losses.
