They don't live long. About 4 years, twice that if you're lucky. If that's not a dealbreaker for you, then go for it.

This not possum core because these are opossums.

Probably not by the simple fact that it's a wild animal, and like any wild animal regardless of how cute or ugly they are, it's going to make your house a mess, they live in the forest, making a mess is part of their survival, be it to access food, mark territory or other stuff.

no you shouldn’t you should start seeing bowls of kibble and water outside at night so our urban nocturnal scavenging friends can have an easy meal and feel safe 💜 but no opossums don’t do well as full pets, as much as i wish they did

I raised one growing up lol he was awesome and they def pick their people , super lovey and more personality than people realize ....possum fits are hilarious
