Start him. He's starting to gain his confidence back. Confidence is the Key and everything will follow.

@DevaronPerry Dean Wade takes it when healthy. Okoro subs in for him. Wade's more reliable with that J.

No. Until somebody comes in and flat out solidifies that spot (completely/consistently), let it be fluid, as needed, with Wade, Stevens, and Okoro.

They need to give him the ball to push it 5 times a game. See if you can catch the defense sleeping. He's a great passer in transition

@DevaronPerry Okoro is great is transition offense but has really struggled shorting. I think you definitely continue to give him minutes but I think Stevens is bigger, stronger, defensively better and can shoot better

@DevaronPerry No still start stevens but it’s good to see okoro giving real solid minutes. Don’t bench stevens because of an injury

I did not realize how good of a passer he was. Impressive how often him and DG give up a good shot for a great shot at such a young age. Very non selfish and yes he should continue to start. The shooting will come eventually and that perimeter defense is all NBA level

@DevaronPerry If you want him playing like this you have to start him to give him the confidence. He just fits so well with the other 4, very underrated playmaker. Eventually that 3 ball will fall with more consistency, even without it he’s been a plus on the offensive end. He should start imo

If his shot is more consistent yes I love his defence but if he can keep his defender out on the perimeter his cutting and space for the offence would be so good

It depends

So the thing was anyone could’ve started in that position if they were contributing on both sides. Caris wasn’t doing that. But both Issac and Lamar have done great in that role. If either could hit that corner three they would solidify that position.

@KevinKvasnok12 To me it is matchup based. Lamar should start tonight if he goes. He can matchup better against the Bucks.

Until he proves otherwise… yes. I still see him as a bench guy who can come in and do exactly what he did last night as a starter. Short term, start him. Long term.. trade for a 3 who can splash and spread it out even more.

He just has to keep working on that shot and decision making, tonight was great! I’ve seen us give up on players to soon before, if he pans out into a starter it would be huge!

I’d start him
