As the EFF which spearheaded the call for parliament to tackle statutory rape, we are calling for the immediate establishment of a National Task Team that will be doing ongoing work on dealing with statutory rape as Parliament and relevant stakeholders (NPA, SAPS, grassroots organizations, etc). We have run out of time for pointing fingers. Parliament must go to the ground.
