@susannareid100 @edballs Totally agree. Not all Dr's and nurses are great, some are but some are awful. It's ridiculous to call them Heroes. They are doing their jobs, some brilliantly, some ok and some should be sacked. No different than other professions.

@susannareid100 @edballs I’m a nurse and I certainly don’t see myself as a hero. I go to work and do my job the best I can with the resources I have. As for the public thinking we are hero’s/ untouchable that couldn’t be further from the truth. I get verbal abuse daily, for issues I can’t control.

@susannareid100 @edballs The government recently halved their original pledge on the money to fix social care, acknowledge as the root cause of undermining the whole process by bed blocking, why is this being ignored?

@susannareid100 @edballs I really wish Emma had been pushed on how much other counties spend per capita bcos she was taking rubbish, it would of highlighted just how underfunded the NHS is. It’s a deliberate ploy by this Tories to privatise.

@susannareid100 @edballs She made me very cross!Come work on my ward for a 12 hour shift(and dif wards) , see what we do, what we sometimes have to endure, Then you may understand why we deserve / need a pay rise. I'd love to go to the coronation and would be devesated if we were banned for going.🤬🤬

@susannareid100 @edballs Still trying to divide the workers for the neoliberal status quo. Why don't you ask: 'Should we be paying for a coronation whilst the people we clapped during Lockdown are using Foodbanks?'

@susannareid100 @edballs Have NHS workers asked/expect to have VIP seats? No. We don’t ask to be called heroes. That is something mostly grown from COVID. It’s great to be appreciated but please don’t bash NHS staff for how we are perceived in the media etc…
