Scotland customers pay on average £113 less for water than England. Public Ownership of water is normal in 90% of the world. 82% of us want to see water nationalised (YouGov July 24). Thames Water just took on £3bn extra debt. So yes we DO want water nationalised as a whole!

This river belongs to everybody! Thames Water 💧 should be extracting poo and leaving the profit, not pumping in poo and extracting profit! If enough people are cheesed off about this, then I think that people will demand that ownership of Thames Water 💧 is returned first to the states and then to community to be regulated responsibly and run not for profit! #HRR23 #aGoodPooTheseDaysIsSadlyNotHardToFind

Andy Burnham is looking to back away from putting Thames Water into Special Administration. This is a huge mistake. This is handing Thames Water on the cheap to foreign vulture funds who know nothing about running a water utility company. He also says it is too expensive to do anything else, so I want to know where those numbers are coming from. Thames Water’s own expert advisors say it would ultimately cost the Government nothing to put the utility into Special Administration.
